I've been marking off the days as they pass by. I am not coping at all. I feel like a dumb little kid. My husband is being driven crazy at how much I talk about the sims 3. I keep thinking, it's coming calm down, but I get all excited again. It's released exactly one month after my birthday. Jan 20th. Hee hee

Yeah, my boyfriend keeps saying "I'm tired of hearing about the Sims 3 and it hasn't even come out yet". I can't say I've been coping well, every day after work I check here on the forum to see if anyone's posted anything new I haven't heard of yet, and yeah..I've been counting down the days until it comes out

I haven't been coping too well either! My family is getting so tired of me talking about the Sims 3 and how excited I am about it. I didn't really have anyone to share it with which is why I signed up for this Snooty Sims Forum lol. To kill time, I have been looking at some floor plans online, watching HGTV for interior design ideas, and waiting on my dad to upgrade my computer :) At least school would help kill even more hours once it starts up again.

I have been replaying sims 2, and I just tried Freetime, still haven't tried Apartment Life. I will get to it soon. So I guess I'm doing well

... I'm actually not even that excited. XD
I mean, I do want the game - but I'm not feeling any hype. And I'm glad, because by the time I get the game I won't be expecting some "life-changing awesomeness" and then get disappointed in the end like how I did with TS2. I'm sure it is going to be a great game, but naturally I haven't really been thinking about it that much. Plus, that means there will probably be more surprises when I play it as well.

Up until a few days ago I was doing fairly well, but now it's the only thing I think about when I'm not indefinetly phocused on something else! It's awful! I've drawn a floor plan, and I'll probably get around to making more, and coming up with a few more families. But other that that I really don' have much to keep my mind off it. I am not coping well.
They better release a video or interview with actual substannce and NEW information soon, or I'm going to burst!
Luckily my birthday is a few months after febuary, so if I can't afford TS3 on my own it's very likely that I'll get it as a gift. But I don't think I'd be able to wait THAT long....

I think I am obsessed. So I would say thats not good coping. My husband calls me a "dork" or a "nerd" all the time due to the fact that I am always watching the CAS video on the TS3 website and other little stuff. I am always on the forums reading and checking to see if there is any new info. My only break was during Christmas. I actually managed to stay away for a few days but now that the holidays are basically over...here I am again. Searching, watching and reading...
The worst thing is...I am going back to school in Jan and my only worry is...how am I going to juggle school, family and fit in time to play the Sims 3? Because once you sit down at that game its not the type of game to play for an hour and then log off. This game easily makes you lose time up to 4 to 6 hours of gameplay...Thats alot of unproductivity in the "real" world. There has been so many times where after weeks of playing the Sims...I seriously feel as if I have lost time and reality period on whats been going on. I often will say stuff that I hear news about like..."wow when did that happen?" and my husband would say when you were away in Veronaville, pleaseantville or whatever neighborhood I was in hahaha.
I even bought a awesome brand new computer just so I can be 100% sure I can play the TS3 as well as have the best gaming experience doing so.
So yeah...im coping....but my own anticipation is enough to make me sick...However I believe that the game will not disappoint so its all good

Ugghhh, I'm not coping well either. I've been spending insane amounts of time of Snooty Sims, waiting for updates and desperately posting my opinion
But I also have been drawing sims characters, making sim families, and even drafting out floor plans for my sims' houses in the middle of school. I'm really hopeless. AND, I just got Apartment Life for Christmas, so that better burn off some of my excess Sims craziness.

I can't sleep, I cut myself and even de-friended people so I can sit alone naked with my images of the Sims 3 on my wall..
Okay, I'm excited for it but I'm not overhyping myself. I just like the feeling of a new Sim game coming out.

I've been sleeping as long as possible - cutting the days shorter.
And I've been playing Spore. Like mad. Now I've gotten the Staff of Life, reached the highest rank and colonised Earth, I can't find anything new to do in it.
But... My family and I are going on a week holiday to the North Coast near Brisbane, so I'll probably come back after 7 days to find EA have postponed the release date, or cancelled it altogether.
I'm not really excited too much about it. All I've had to do is not watch the CAS video - that got me hyper-uber-excited the first time I watched it and I couldn't get to sleep.
