I haven't really been playing Sims 2 ever since my brother's computer died and I recently took off every other game I have on this computer to make room for Spore. I am thinking that I am just going to wait until Sims 3 comes out and the only games I will have on my new computer will be that and Spore. However I do plan on someday getting The Sims Complete Collection and hopefully The Sims 2 Complete Collection. Anyways who here still plays The Sims 2?

I finally uninstalled it. Not really because of Sims 3 coming up, but I was just getting bored. I'll probably re-install someday. However, I really want to play Sims 1! I just need to find the disks. Sims 2 just got old.

If I play Sims 1 or Sims 2 again, I'd get the complete collection for easy installation. Popping in 4 disc compared to hundreds or whatever shall makes it worth it.

Also Spore is an awesome game and I cannot wait until Galactic Adventures to come out because of the rumored "Galactic Editor" which will add new missions. Also it has been confirmed there is an expansion pack, because on My Spore Page it says they are taking applicants to test out the upcoming expansion pack.

I still play, although I need to get my laptop's keyboard fixed, cause it's all working fine, the keyboard isn't though.

I just got Apartment Life, so that should add another week or two of TS2 entertainment.

But I also just got Black and White 2, and that distracts me from TS2 and the wait for TS3.

I still play it because I have apartment life but it is getting boaring because my sims can no longer be on a community lot for more then 7 minutes or the game crashes.I'm thinking about uninstalling everything and reinstalling minus two eps and see if that works.My pc doesn't have enough ram to play them all and it's no longer upgradable.

I still play! Though admittedly it's been losing it's interest for me and times between one playing session to the next is increasing.

I'm actually addicted to the sims 2 but the crashing takes the fun out of playing.I love nightlife and I can't play it no more but if I uninstall some packs nightlife and al stay.Nightlife come with the base game anyway.I wish I could add two more sticks of ram to my pc.Now that the sims 3 is coming out also Microsoft is about to release windows 7.

I'm still loving The Sims 2 and there are a few families I want to finish up with before I uninstall. I'm away from my computer right now and we won't be reunited for another week so I'll probably spend all next weekend playing. I bought Apartment Life but my stupid computer won't recognize that there is a disc on the CD-ROM drive when I try to install it but oh well, I'm happy with the EP's I have.

I'm probably just going to play just for movie making and story writing.
TS2 and TS3 two completely different games, so I don't consider myself to advance on and automatically continue movie/story-making strictly for TS3.

I've been playing alot more lately now that I have an extra gig of ram. Which has completely solved my crashing issues. Turns out the houses/mansions I built take up around 900kb - 1.2gb of ram, which would explain why I couldn't play on those lots for very long before a crash when I only had 1 gig of ram

I haven't experienced a single crash since and have been able to play hours uninterupted

I wish I could add two more sticks of ram to mine then I could go on community lots again.I'll just have to uninstall 2 expansion packs I guess.

That happened to me with my old computer! My mom had bought me a lot of the expansion packs for Christmas/birthdays but I could only have one or two on the computer at a time unless I wanted it to die. But then again my old computer was 4 years old.

Hmm other than using The Sims 2 for machinima, I don't play any more. Once I have The Sims 3 next month I will probably not touch the previous game for a good few months.

I'm looking into buying The Sims Complete Collection and The Sims 2 Complete Collection also.

Nope, haven't played since I got my computer fixed, and do not plan on installing all the games again. I am waiting for The Sims 3.

I'm hoping people will still be interested in TS2 machinima... Though I figure people will naturally be more inclined to see what's up with TS3 machinima. I really haven't seen TS2 movies or stories in a long time.

I'll probably still play around with TS2 on my dads computer for machinima purposes and random amusement. But other than that, I haven't really had any motive or feeling to actually go back and play it despite the fact I just got Apartment Life.

I still play the sims 1 (easier on the old computer) but the sims 2 was done for for me ages ago. I just want the sims 3 now.

Hmm.. It's been going on 1.5 years since I have played, so no. I have had the urge to go out and buy the base game again though since that is the one I am missing.

I don't play anymore now, I already said I'd uninstall it, since I have no more space to download Mirror's Edge and Family Guy :(

Not very often, but it's still installed.
Every now and then I make a little house, drop a little family in it and then forget to play them.
I'm quite bored with it and ready for something new.
