Seeing as this forum has been upgraded to phpbb3, why don't we have usergroups as on the other forum?

Offtopic: Also the newer forum is completely inactive. I never see anyone post unless it's in The Sims 3 section.

Because they were considered a failure. They were barely posted in. I was pushing to have them here but I'm not really getting any support behind my usergroup ideas. Tell ya what, if you guys come up with some good usergroup ideas perhaps we can sway those usergroup reluctant staff members. :P

But I joined the Spore usergroup and as of today (I think) it still says I'm pending approval. So maybe if people were actually allowed to join.........

8 people. When they ask to join they join. Might be cookie problem. So yes people did join it like the other ones we had but nobody new after awhile then they got bored of it since everybody can't see it. They rather post in the open so they started to which made usergroup pointless. Usergroups that have a real meaning would be better. We have a non games section on both forums and that's where they went but now since spore is open here they go there so even guests can see the posts.
