Whenever I try to search for posts on the forum I end up getting a message that says:

This isn't a forum error, but when you are on the "Misc." section in the screenshots for TS3, the link for "CAS" isn't there.

Hm I don't know what's up with this. I just got the error myself while deleting a post. I'm gonna look around and see what I can find about this. I'll edit this post if I find anything.

Maybe it's because CAS is a subsidiary of Pictures?

I got it while deleting a post too. The post got deleted anyway but it didn't show up as a moderator log.

I get that "General Error" whenever I'm editing or deleting a post. The deleting doesn't show up on the log and the editing doesn't work at first but then I go back and try again... can anyone keep us updated on this as soon as they know anything? its getting annoying.

I get it when I save my editing after the first time, if I just click back and then 'submit', it works. Also, when I was trying to find one of my posts with a specific word, I got the error again. But when I removed the search term it showed a list of all my posts, like it was supposed to.

So I did look around best I could for the solution to this. All I found was peolple saying that the mySQL tables that the forum uses are corrupt and that they need to be reset. But this is something Snooty would have to fix. But I'm unsure because all the posts I could find on this happening had to do with Phpbb 2 forums and not Phpbb 3 forums. I saw where some people said it'd go away on it's on but like I said... I'm not sure. I'll dig around a little more.

Most people got it from upgrading the old sql to the new sql and if the search is huge you get that to like Snooty said. Just something we gotta live with but can be fixed easily by compressing and removing certain things out of the search, etc. It can all be fixed all the annoying things but takes time and effort to have somebody do it. I can't do it and think only Snooty can since it requires editing things on the server and reuploading I saw.

I have found out the problem for the General Error thing and PMed Snooty about the fix since he's the only one who can fix it. Hopefully it'll be resolved.

Edited: This error has now been fixed! Now you can delete your own posts, edit them and use the search without that annoying error.

That's awesome, the error was starting to get quite annoying, especially since we couldn't do searches, thanks Kristin! :D

Alright something I noticed... the "Leaving for a While" thread in chatterbox is acting weird, it always says there's a new post, like I can't make it so ive "read" it, and then it says te last post was made by Swat and it was actually made by Shadowsim...

Yeah... that's strange. The forum's trying to remove all traces that I exist it seems. Well, IT WON'T HAPPEN! XP

That probably happened because Swat made a post and then deleted it. The best way to deal with it is that when you are done reading Chatterbox go into the board and click on Mark topics read. Make sure you do this in the board and NOT on the index.

Yea I was gonna say someone must have deleted a post. I noticed this a few days ago actually (er right before the General error thing was fixed). I posted in a topic, deleted my post and it stayed lit up and said I was the last poster when of course I wasnt'. I was hoping it would be fixed when the General Error was. But I'm guessing it's not?

There seems to have been some sort of rollback error in the Chatter-box. Several threads have been rolled back to stating on the right that their last post was on June 16th, though they have obviously been posted in as early as yesterday.

This might be happening in other boards, too, but I haven't looked.

And I've found that sometimes when I post it tells me I cannot post so soon after my last, when I haven't posted anything.
