Post DUH DUH DUH.... BEST EXPANSION PACK?
Okay, so I'm allowed one expansion (or two stuff packs) pack for X-mas.... I already have seasons and pets and family fun stuff... what would you guys suggest? FYI I like to have big families and cute couples.... but I'm pretty much an all around player, I'm not like OMFG MY SIMS MUST LOOK THE EXACT SAME! lol I'm also not a crazed collecter but i like good new features not related to that pack... (turn on turn offs in pets for example) and new clothing and hairstyles.

I think the best EP after Seasons is Nightlife because it adds downtown, restaurant, club, system of attraction and chemistry, cars and some urban features !

I also like Bon Voyage, it adds vacation place, beach, hotel, sunbathes, sauna and several insteresting features !

About Apartment Life, this one extend Nightlife but just it adds apartments, reputation, social groups, playground and ceiling, It is not enough interesting alone !

About Stuff Pack, the best SP are Mansion and Garden, IKEA and H&M !
Mansion and Garden adds a really usefull cheatcode (setQuarterTilePlacement is better than snapObjectsToGrid false) and the roof angle option !

Not really, if you have a big family with failing needs and a big shortage on money, you can have a which boost the needs of everyone in the family, I use this for my legacy :D

And the lapdogs, they're cute and good for people without the Pets EP, I can't see what's really useless.

Maybe because InSIM already boost the needs of everyone and lapdogs are worst than a real dog from Pets.

evafreed has already got Pets so I don't think it is really usefull to get lapdogs.

What if Evafreed was to play a legacy and had a family member who became a witch and can't use mods, how can you use the InSIM then, huh?

Um... If you like the features to be integrated into normal gameplay, get Seasons. It adds the best things into everyday life. Don't get Bon Voyage - going on vacation is a long and tedious process that can lead to hundreds of crashes and the dreaded Tour Guide bug. After Seasons I'd say Apartment Life - after that FreeTime then Pets. They all work really well with normal gameplay and don't require you to leave the house to access their features.

Hope that helped. :D

evafreed has already got Pets and Seasons.

I think Apartment Life and FreeTime are not enough new interesting features but they are necessary.

I propose to you this order :

1. Nightlife
2. Apartment Life
3. Bon Voyage
4. FreeTime
5. University
6. Open for Business

NOTE: If you want the playground stuff, you should get AL before NL.

I'll probably end up getting either AL or NL, b/c they sound coolest.... but I think I want OFB the most and I really want the buisness's.......... sob. Unfortunatly I can only play this game when I'm at my grandparents cuz my computer isn't good enough to play it. but I go to my gp's once every month so it's cool, it's cool.

My parents ended up NOT getting me any expansion packs. But I'm still gonna buy one with my X-mas money. I got a cell phone though :spin:

Well, I don't have Uni, BV or AL so I can't speak for those, but if I had to choose just one...it would be OFB. It fits so well with so many other packs. You can sell the cars from NL, pets, produce from Seasons, stuff from the crafting benches in either OFB or FT. Or you could have a salon, a restaurant, a nightclub...the list goes on and on. I have yet to run out of ideas for new businesses, lol. :smile2:

I know, right? So many things you can do. And if you don't like going to community lots where time doesn't pass, you can always open a home business instead. I think the hardest businesses for me are restaurants. The easiest to get to level 10 are merchandise because you have so many "star" opportunities. Venue businesses are easier to run, but they take longer to build up to 10.
