Post Grounding!
Wouldn't it be cool if you could ground your Sim children for being bad little Sims?

I do! :bouncy:

I would have one family who grounds their kids constantly, and another who never grounds their kids at all, and then see how the kids turn out as adults.

Though the kids would still have the option to sneak out if they wanted. Which means they would only get in more trouble once they got back.

That would be interesting. If a sim kid did not complete their homework or if a teen was caught sneaking out. It would be an interesting dynamic if children whose parents did not use discipline had more of a chance to develop a childish trait. For example, children that are not disciplined are more likely to have lack maturity and responsibility.

This is a great idea. Sim kids being naughty would make it more real & grounding the little horrors would make great family dramas.

Grounding would be cool, i've always wanted to do it ever since i made one of my sim teens sneak out. when they got home the parent just pop window yelled. i was hoping for/wanting more.

How anti-climatic of the parents.

No thanks. I think its stupid when parents ground kids. Like what is that going to do? I have to stay in my room all day? haha that wouldn't do anything. my parents never grounded me and I'm fine lol i wont do it to my kids either, its just pointless.

I would like to have grounding in the game, but I don't get grounded. My parents don't like going back on their word so if I did something good during my grounding they would have to. But either way I'm secretly a little evil (aren't we all) so I would ground all my sim children until they starve :mwahaha: , now if you excuse me I'm going to see how much a life costs, I'm in desperate need for one. :giggle:

LOL! I would get grounded as a kid, and my Dad would say I'd be grounded for a week, and then ten minutes later, he'd tell me about a show that was on TV, and ask me if I wanted to watch it.

I asked him (when I became an adult) why he never had me stay grounded. He said, that if something unexpected had ever happened to him, he would hate to have died with me mad at him for being grounded.

But yeah, I would so ground my Sim kids if there was an option for it.
