Overall, time will tell if the tool works well or not. Offtopic: I think I've seen higher horses, I'm happy with my own two feet.

Your right I won't be downloading this new "free" tool because I don't even need it. I barely use CC. So you can try the attitude with someone else it's not going to work with me sweets.

Ok, I apologize for the rudeness to you and Larku. I've just seen so much TSR bashing on this forum and I'd like to see more Sims 3 talk and this tool intrigues me. I'm not much for CC myself and I'll scan the download for trojans because it seems thats a fear among some but I'd like to try it. As I said in another thread, I'm not a TSR supporter, Snooty supporter, etc. I'm a Sims supporter and thats why I'm here.

I have some problems with TSR. If they are the first to release custom content, I will be the first to download it from the 'booty' at psmbd!

Re: TSR releases Sims 3 CC workshop soon (totally FREE !!!!)
TSR wants to have its own tool so they can't be criticized for selling stuff created using tools made and developed for free by other communities.
These last communities are the ones I'll be checking for news and tools, anyway. I dislike TSR. Not only they sell stuff, they also reveal an unbelievable dreadful taste in their creations and site (mostly and IMHO).
I'm guessing that while I'm discovering The Sims 3 base game and until I really really really need something new and tools to make it, Sims Ambertation and MTS will come up with solutions. I rather wait.

Czarcrash: are you talking to me?
I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not anyone you may know. I'm a simmer, a downloader of free content and a (very good) reader and thinker. Once a year I say something – usually so accurate it's annoying to read for those who don't agree with me. I don't belong to any community.
English is not my main language so please try not to talk to me using shortened words and idioms I can not understand.
I also appreciate not being talked as being someone pretending to be somebody else – that's an unfair and dirty form of argument, used to intimidate antagonists when one has nothing better to say.
Snootysims.com has a link to this topic in the main page so it's only natural that the forum gets more new users while the link is there.

czarcrash wrote: Qdog(Padre? DOT?) Wipe the spittle off your chin, dear. What? Dot? Padre? I'm not a priest and there's no need to be rude. I was just expressing my opinion, you know?. I don't want to start a flame war, so I'll leave it at that. As I said I'm not a member of TSR and I don't like paysites (I have never paid for CC, and I'm not even sure I'll use the sims store) but I like to customize my game, and I was worried we wouldn't be able to do so in the sims 3, with all the textures Create a Style needs etc. This tool will help. And I think if it was being developed by any other site we would all be celebrating, so I think you're biased. I'm just trying to be fair and see things objectively, leaving aside all prejudices I may have against paysites.

I'm QDog, s/he was referring to me when s/he called me Padre and Dot. Which is funny because I'm not a father nor a priest. ETA: the only other screen names I use are PiperHollyRox (TS2 and modthesims2) and Queerdog.

I think it's cool that they are making a tool, i'll probably download it, but like many here, I'm not too fond of TSR. Won't say why here, but check the other thread for why.

Re: TSR releases Sims 3 CC workshop soon (totally FREE !!!!)
Can we upload our creations to ModtheSims2? I realize that The Sims Resource has banned all mentioning of the website and seeing as this tool is being created by them, will they find a way of "preventing" content to be uploaded to ModtheSims2?

According to the information provided by StephenJSheridan "Content produced with the tool can be uploaded anywhere you want, there are no restrictions such as only uploading to TSR". I really hope they keep their word, otherwise I'll be majorly dissapointed, because ModTheSims is my main source of custom content for TS2, and I guess it'll be the same with TS3.

I hope TSR release the tool as soon as possible. I already hunger, hunger for add new clothes. Especially the underwear. The underwear in TS3 is so boring and plain.
