Post The sims 3:we're in business!
I have a remake of the sims three open for busniess that sounds very cool!
The sims 3: Were in business!
Your sims are sick of going to work and doing the same old same old. We are sick of getting only a few options to control are sims at work! The sims are ready to open up there own business and not taking no for a answer.
This ep will allow your sims to open there own store up and run it.
You will be able to open your own store up at home or at a community lot.
Then you can pick on the store options button before you get down to creating your own business you will chooice the stores hours, advertising, and what kind of store you want your business to be.
Your sims can choose from a restraunt store <you can pick what kind of food you serve whitch means there will be a ton of new recipes that can be used like mexican italion, and other cusines> or they can choose electronic store, a toy store, a video and movie blockbuster,or if your not into a buying a making store you can open your own nightclub or skill teaching store.<you can build a class and request a fee so other sims can learn that skill> and more. You can also own smaller stores like a pastry pickup or a coffee store.
Your sims will have the ability to design there own items to sell that cant be bought in the buy mode. They can make tvs, robots, diffrent types of toys and even create there own food dishes and more!
Sims will no longer have badges but mini skill levels out of five. There will be 1.Electronic building, 2. Toy making 3. cashier, 4. sales, 5. managing 6. advertising/marketing.
Your sims can also be hired as a worker with the other businessess.<Premade sims can open bussiness. There will also be premade empty stores that can be bought.>
Sims can franchise there company if there doing very well.
Sims can hire managers that will run your franchised business since one sim can do only so much. The marketers can also hire and fire sims if you request!
Sims that have a business and are more of a owner then a worker will have to create a office in the back of the store that needs to have a least a computer. Then your sims will do there work from there computer. You will have like that green bar and your report needs to be done each week.
Markaters will not go to your store unless you ask them to and they must have there own office with a computer and a business table. They will tell you news every 3 days like information on how well your doing from marketing.
Your sim will have to choose if they want newspaper, tv, radio, magazine, and blimp advertising. Blimp then tv then newspaper then radio then magazine in quality.
If you choose TV you can choose how you want it advertised. People from around the town will send you ideas that you and your marketer can review and buy. Do you want to hire a dilly syas <billy mays  > That all the sims reconize or hire a cheaper but less efficent pitch man!
There will also be a mini section over each mini skill option so electronic making will have a section that says what can your sim build? Then a list of objects your sim can do it perfect or is learning or can make <the more you do it and the more knolege you no the better youll do>.
Books can be read so they can learn to build certain objects or they can reed egineering books that can teach them to build and design there own.
Objects that you create can be looked at in stars so the more complicated the object the more educated you need to be in of egineering.
You can hire sims to work at your business and choose there pay and there clothing.
The sims that you look at to hire will see how good they are at that skill. Then you assign them to do the job.
Sims will go to your store looking to buy or to go to your store so you have to have your adivsors try to get them to buy the object. The better they are at advising the better chance you have. Each mini skill level will Give you the ability to socialise in a diffrent way, so if you have only one skill point they may have the ability to talk about item, if they have 4 skill points they can pitch the item!
Other things like cashiering you can have diffrent options like if they have 5 points have the ability to trick your buyers into buying more.
You will set the price of items. If you build an item worth 100$ then you would set the price to 110$ so you make 10 dollers or whatever you want the price to be.
OTHER:
Sims can build robots that can do certain things like cooking, cleaning, painting, and handyness. If your sim has a compleate 10 points in engineering <the skill level that will be added to the cooking handy, painting etc.
new traits like, loves small business, hates small business, eginerer, cashier wiz, marketing genius, and stuff like that.
Your sims can also open up a car pool and they can use there car and charge a fee for people that need a ride. So sims can not just ride in a taxi they can also own a taxi, bus, or even a limo!!!
Sims can buy a garage lot were they can place there viecles that can drive around town. You can hire drivers.
New items are: storage shelves, Store Shelves, New cars, and more.
Sims can also run a door to door business or they can run a garage sale and sell there items.

I find your elimination of the apostrophe in "We're" to be hilarious, since it changes the meaning from "The Sims 3: We Are in Business" to "The Sims 3: Used to be in Business".

Now I like many of the ideas, especially shelves. You have no idea how badly I want shelves in this game. Something I really miss from AL also is pressing [ and ] to move photos up and down the wall.
I don't know how I feel about the car garage and carpool suggestions. The garage seems like it'd just take up more time since we have inventories, and the carpool might actually be realized as a taxi/limo job, but not likely anything else (charging someone for a ride [repeatedly for the sake of income] is actually illegal without a taxi [or similar] permit in most of the US and I'm sure some batty right-wing at ESRB wouldn't approve).
I do miss the robotics skills, but I think a painting robot would just make the game way too easy in terms of income. Then again, I guess it's not unrealistic if you're assuming that building a cooking, cleaning, relationship-building robot is possible.

All-in-all it seems like an interesting idea, but still just a buttered-up OFB. I'm holding onto the possibly unrealistic idea that TS3 expansions will be new concepts rather than polished clones of everything previous.

Offtopic: Thanks for the apology. I appreciate it.

But yeah, I was thinking of GTA when I read it, but I can't imagine it being too useful. I'd rather watch my sim paint than watch them drive some bozo around town.
I do want the old OFB skills, and I'm really really wanting a sculptor's block. I miss watching my sims carve things out of stone :P
