 World Adventures Trailer
I don't have a link for you guys, but EA just showed the trailer for World Adventures at their conference at Gamescom, Cologne. It basically showed Egypt and the sort of adventures we can get up to, like finding secret doors to chambers, getting attacked by mummies and what I assume is the town centre (which looked pretty unique actually). I'm sure the trailer will be up on the Internet sometime soon. EDIT: Found it http://uk.pc.ign.com/dor/objects/23322/ ... 81709.htmlhttp://uk.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/thes ... os;title;1

What an awesome morsel. Indeed, thank you for finding this! I really like how the door to the tomb looked, lol. THe bazaar was also really cool.

 Re: World Adventures Trailer
Yay! Now that I have a computer that can handle the graphics and has much more memory, I'm really looking forward to this expansion. I really wanted to play Bon Voyage when I got it but it always made my game lag quite badly on my old computer. A bazaar!

OMG! OMG! OMG!!! If we can have the option to built houses with secret walls and switches and whatever, then I will not use a door, EVER! AAAhhh the mummy was beautiful...mmmm P.S. Was that the rainbow gem? Awww I wish there are new gems for the EP!

 Re: World Adventures Trailer
I suppose that looks kinda cool... But... I don't know. It's just not what I was expecting for the first EP. I just want more to my existing neighborhoods. And I REALLY want to make my OWN neighborhood. Geez.

Re: the sims 3 world adventures (teaser trailer)
I'm completely confused as to what to think of this. It seems good but weird for a sims game. I think it'll be very limited as an adventure game personally and just an updated version of those point and click games from back in the day, except the characters need to either eat, sleep or go to the toilet every 2 minutes.

Ugh, I'm worrying... Why aren't they showing France and China? DX I'm sick of seeing Egypt! Now it just seems like "The Sims 3: Egypt!" n_n

Nope - there is a choice - normal vacation or adventure... You don't have to be discovering tombs etc all the time!
by the way: I LOVE this music from the trailer!!! I hope its ingame :)

 Re: World Adventures Trailer
i think it looked really cute. the mummy part seems pretty exciting. sadly, my laptop won't be able to handle an expansion pack. ): oh well. it seems odd for the first one. just my opinon, though. you'd think there would be more of a neighborhood add-on, like pets of OFB. i'm really excited to see what they'll do with france! berets and croissants and the eiffel tower, maybe? (:

This way they can keep updating us with new things until release.

Re: the sims 3 world adventures (teaser trailer)
I thought the trailer was nice. Just watched it over at gametrailers.com. I really liked the music too, I hope it's included. It's always nice to see things in motion
The reason they're focusing on Egypt right now, is simply because it's still a couple months away. I'm sure you can expect to see some screens of the other two areas as we draw closer to it's release, and 'maybe' 2 more teaser trailers showing each area. They're not going to give us all the details and spoil us with screens and videos of everything so soon
