Not to mention isn't the Nile fresh water? Fresh water crocs don't attack let alone kill humans. I think there is one report of an 'attack' in Australia and the guy walked away with a few scratches after he stepped on the poor thing. It's the salt water ones you worry about.... yeah useless aussie knowledge Uh, where did you hear that lie? You do know that freshwater crocodiles account for some of the largest and most vicious crocodiles on earth? Just because the saltwater is the largest, doesn't mean the freshwater ones aren't the second largest The Nile Crocodile is responsible for more attacks on humans than all other species combinedAnd you say fresh water crocodiles don't attack humans This is a Nile crocodile... WARNING: GRAPHICOMFG! I'm eating here!!! ......and that's why there's a warning.

It's not a lie, just looked them up with a simple google search and I quote: Quote: The Freshwater Crocodile is the more timid relation of the much larger and aggressive Estuarine (Saltwater) Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). Unlike the Estuarine Crocodile, there have been no reports of serious unprovoked attacks by Freshwater Crocodiles.
And:
One item not on freshwater crocodile diet list is people. According to the Queensland Parks and Widlife Service they are “…usually inoffensive, but will bite if provoked.” “…there is no record of an unprovoked attack on any person by a freshwater crocodile.” We have had old timers tell us of having swum with freshwater crocs back at the bush swimming hole when they were kids, but we would urge you use caution, even if you think you can tell which species is which. Having said that one bit of info I saw said the Nile Crocodile breed does attack humans. But the freshwater breed I'm talking about don't

 Re: Crocodiles FTW!
Why is everyone so hyped up about getting their facts right about crocodiles? o-o
Lawl, they're just crocodiles.
Anyways, I hope they bring crocodiles into the game, friendly ones though. Or they can be like cowplants.

They wouldn't need to show them getting ripped up to make it look like a crocadile has eaten them, the crocodile could pop up in front of them, move towards them and jump on the sim bringing him/her under the water. You wouldn't see anything overly violent.

But yea - you are most probably right, (i'm no crocodile expert) But by the looks of it, the freshwater one has a narrower snout, which i'm assuming is filled with sharp teeth for gripping fish, where as the nile one has a wider mouth, used to hold and anchor prey whilst it struggles... or am i just being silly? And also: OMG THAT THING WITH THE HAND!! D: I THOUGHT THAT WAS PHOTOSHOPPED! but when you showed it from differnt angles and stuff D: It looks like its in a zoo though? How could people be aloud to get that close? D:

How could people be aloud to get that close? D: Well, the ONLY somewhat violent or vicious picture I could find anywhere of a freshy is this... I'm not being "biased", there just aren't any pictures of freshwater crocodiles attacking anything. Nile crocs are always the ones you see on Discovery/National Geo that are attacking animals in rivers. It is what they are known for. Freshys are just too small to attack anything of any significant size And yeah, crocodiles will definitely bit off your arm if given the chance. There's no reason why someone would need to photoshop an image to make it look like it happened... because it actually does happen Here's for a violent arm snapping crocodile video WARNING: GRAPHIC AND NASTYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbZ6XHW7gBcAlligator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTMlQSbAGfE

I think you've forgotten how violent Sims deaths are already. Sims burn to death in fires. I don't think being eaten by a crocodile would be labeled any worse as far as the 'teen' rating goes.

Yeah, if they add the cowplant animation in or something similar, where it just goes "pop" into the crocodile really fast, I doubt there'll be blood and stuff. I'm doubting a crocodile death, it could be hard to pull off without blood, but oh well. I don't mind whether there's a death or not, I just want crocs. DX
