 New Stuff Pack Rumour
I found this posted at the sims 3 site so I thought I'd post. This isn't confirmed yet.
From Play.com: --------------------------------- The Sims 3: High End Stuff (Expansion Pack)
Customer rating: Not yet rated ( Not yet rated ) | Write a review » £11.99 Free Delivery
RRP: £14.99 | You save: £3.00 (20%)
Pre-order. | Due for release on 12/02/2010 (That's Feb 12th 2010, for the US types)
-------------------------------- So it looks like in addition to the TS3 Store, we're gonna see Stuff Packs for TS3... as I'd wager that's not really an Expansion pack.. since it's called "High End Stuff".... Probably electronics, furniture, the hot tub, and pool slide.. maybe some instruments... But that's all conjecture...

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
don't expect anything that requires new animations. That's asking too much of EA.

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
Excuse me, Draik, but the Sims 2 stuff pack, the very last one, did have animations for the staircases where sims could slide down the bannisters. So it is possible.

It's bad enough they want us to buy things from the store and pay 10 extra for EPs. They expect us to still get stuff packs. When will EA learn?

You forgot the flower sniffing animation too. I didn't even own the pack and heard about that.

Woah! That sounds cool.
And guys, seriously? Lets not turn this into another discussion about EA and their lack of work. We already killed all the threads and people on here to stuff like that.

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
A Stuff Pack in February would be just in time for my birthday. LOL. That would be an easy present to request from my husband, who never knows what to get me. I like the idea of a "High-End" pack. My Sims like to live like royalty, anyway.

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
Depending on how many items are included in the Stuff Pack, I think I would be more likely to buy that than SimPoints and items from the store. I think the Sims 2 stuff packs were largely a waste of money (except for the IKEA one) but I think the Sims 3 Store is even worse. I probably wouldn't buy a stuff pack either though... from previous experience, the Sims 3 community makes better, more realistic items then EA.

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
The only thing I worry is that it won't be new content, but just things from the store on disc form. But overall, I'm curious.

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
I bought some of them, but missed more than a fair share. Some of them were good but I was disappointed with the Ikea pack for Sims 2. It didn't have nearly as many of the sets and it only had the more popular ones. X.x

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
If they expect us to pay for overpriced items in the store, AND buy stuff packs, then I will be torrenting it for sure, that is if I even feel like taking the time to download it. Custom content is WAY better anyway

 Re: New Stuff Pack Rumour
Well, no where do I recall them saying for a fact they would not release store content in stuff packs. The irony would be, if they did the stuff packs would be cheaper. Though since we cannot see into the future, it's not like we can stop buying from the store to wait for the pack to release. It's all in how greedy EA chooses to be. But here's to hoping they are not that evil..... right?
