I see a lot of questions going around, especially about what people should get to help out their game and if their cards are supported or not. I need your help as a community to help this be good. I figure it will cut down on topics and help people a lot. Don't post something not legit and will not support TS3, please.

If you are unsure about your system specs go to Run. Then type in dxdiag.exe
Doing so will allow you to see exactly what your system specs are.

Minimum Specs(Taken directly from The Sims3 Official Website)
FOR WINDOWS XP

* Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
* 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* At least 6.5 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content
* 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

FOR WINDOWS VISTA

* Windows Vista (Service Pack 1)
* 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
* 1.5 GB RAM
* At least 6.5 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content

For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires at least:

What's that dxdiag file, Simmer? Is it just the same thing as this basically only comes with the game? Just a list of compatible hardware, specifically graphics cards?
