It's outstanding but I wish they would fix the bugs because if you swich families it can crash your hood and totally mess it up.

I must admit, Im surprised how good this EP is. However, I got a few issues with it, like Error Code 16 and also the fact children have nothing to do on the vaction.

Absolutely brilliant. I was expecting so much worse, but they managed to effectively turn what used to be an open-ended simulation into a really great RPG game that still keeps elements from the sim world.
I especially liked the adventure in Egypt that made you go to all the tombs and pyramids in search of the ancient relics, it took well over 3 hours for me to complete it. Also, the one where you have to break into the resistance base and unlock all of the doors - it is extremely reminiscant of early RPG games with the floor pads unlocking certain ones and you having to step on them in the right order... That last room left me stumped for a while until I just randomly jumped on pads until it opened.
Nectar making is relatively easy... you just have to grow the plants before you can actually start, as well as buy a nectar machine.
Sim Fu is great, I love how it uses a similar belt feature to that of karate. Although they completely missed the purple belt altogether.

And the towns! Champs le Sims is so amazing, twisting roads and cobblestone paths... and that Landgraab manor 'tomb' was such an awesome idea, although I'll admit I had to use the Xenoport feature of Sim Fu to 'cheat' a little.
Al Simhara is so ENORMOUS! The tombs and pyramids are so far apart, and they all look really, really good at night. Especially the Sphinx! The base is all lit up...
I have yet to completely explore Shang Simla, but from what I've seen so far it's exceptional. Especially the dragon cave!

Bugs aside, I really do love what WA offers. I know the bugs will be fixed eventually, sometime (hopefully) soon. I would probably wait till they are indeed fixed

The vacation spots really do look amazing, and I love the new skills that are added. When Sims 3 came out, I was impressed with how well the sims team has come along when it comes to building homes. The Sims 2 ones I thought were ugly, but they really improved on this in 3. With that said, the homes and buildings look really nice in the vacation spots. France was the last place I visited, and I loved the way the buildings looked

Going back to the skills, I enjoy all of them. I didn't think I would like photography that much cause it didn't seem that interesting, but after I picked up a camera and started taking pictures, I started to get hooked on it. Nectar making is abit easier than I thought it would be. You can pretty much mix any combination of fruits making your own version, but the effect they have on the sim are all the same (either good or bad)

I love the martial arts, though mentioned above, they did miss a couple belts. Red was also not there, but different martial arts uses different styles of belts, so I'm fine with this (I never liked belt ranks personally anyway)

I'm totally loving tomb creation. It's just another output for me to do more building, which I love to do. I've even thought about making complex tombs that I might upload to MTS

It does have it's little issues here and there, but all in all, I find it alot more enjoyable than I originally thought I would

I honestly thought this EP was a horrible idea at first. But I bought it this weekend and I played nonstop. I really adore Champs Le Sims, It was the first place I went and it really is gorgeous. There are so many locals to interact with and I had so much fun doing some of the adventures there. The nectar making skill is a blast. I like having to grow the grapes and find the rare ones. I didn't spend much time in Shang Simla but what I did see was great. I can't wait to work on my Sim Fu skills. And I was expecting to hate Al Simhara, for some reason what they were showing us in the previews just did not appeal to me at all. When I finally played Al Simhara. I LOVED IT. The scenery there is amazing, and like Draik said it was so much fun exploring the tombs. I think it's my favorite of the three adventure destinations. I've yet to have any kind of bugs or issues with my game, and my computer isn't some amazing powerful PC, and it runs sims3 & WA with no lag at all. It sucks that so many people are having issues with the game and I hope EA can get a patch out but other than that they did a great job with this EP, really surprised me.

The EP is great when I can play it. The Patch before the EP borked up my computer, so I am having some issues.

But the bits I have gotten to do have been better than I thought they would be. I knew I was getting the EP when it came out, but I wasnt sure how much I was going to enjoy it, it has exceeded what I expected. I really like the tomb exploration, the martial arts, the photography, nectar making, etc, I've gotten to try bits of them so far and its been pretty fun. The new areas look really great to me.

I have it but I don't want to install it just yet. My computer's slow to begin with. Maybe when I've got a new processor or more RAM I'll give it a go.

I wouldnt install it untill they bring out a new patch.
I havent been able to go on the sims 3 since I installed WA as the family trees are totally messed up.
Makes it pretty pointless as if I continue with my saved files then the family trees will become even more broken.
Random sims have lost their family trees and can't even open theres up.
I have been unable to play it for 2 months now.

So far i haven't seen anything in the game to really rave about. I thought it was alright, but the fun was taken away when it messed my family tree up  i get irritated just thinking about it. I'd wait for the patches before putting it on your computer, it just may jack up your game too. Other than that I liked the china the best, but you see i didn't go there for anything else, but a husband for my great grand daughter. she has two kids by Ho sung Kim now. They made some pretty boys

hmmm. its now been over 7 months and the family tree bug has not been fixed.
When I go on a vacation the family instantly lose their family relationships
So the expansion is unplayable
Does anyone else on here have this?

World Adventures is an expansion pack that could easily be forgotten but make one glad they have it to rediscover.
