2.0 requires only the base game, but it is a much smaller and older version of Coconut Island.

It's so beautiful! Does it have any families? Oh, and do you need the new update to download worlds?

**OUTDATED**
go to pages 19+ for current updates

it does have families but I have learned that those pre made, their mood remains static! Weird eh? But any families you create will have normal mood drop.

the only update that is needed is the one that includes the basements, so I guess the latest? I'm up to date. Hmmm...

That is very cool. I love little towns and villages so it's a perfect getaway from the city (not that Sunset Valley is really a city).

I love this! I've been playing with Lyndsey Hay. I'm having a blast! I have run into one bugish thing. I moved Lyndsey into Bungalow Twofer (right next to Lattice Beach). She is having some issues leaving and entering her lot when she is to the right of the stairs leading up to the upper level. I don't know if its because the plants are too close or what... But other than that, its fantastic! Great Job!

took me about a week and a half to make the land and lots, but most of the work has been testing and fixing. That's where the meat and potatoes lie with creating a world. You can go through a couple of generations and still find new things that pop up.

careful megatherium, those premade villagers are some super ones :smile2: they don't change moods, age or die! can't fix that(other than taking them all out), but thanks for the heads up about that one lot. I can fix that. :smile2:

Really? Her needs have been acting normal, and I've seen other villagers with the little "I need sleep/food/toilet" icons over their heads.

It has a few secret little "tombs" but not World Adventure style, just basement-tool style. :ohyeah: I definitely plan on making a full scale tomb for Coconut Island when I get my hands on WA.

Mega, are you noticing any routing failures? Like if you click for your sim to go to the garden, or the playground, they don't? I've noticed a few sticky routing situations like this occasionally pop up, but not 100% of the time.

Yeah, I have been noticing a few things like that. Nothing too major. I'm having a bit of trouble getting Sim from the community garden to her house, but I can't pinpoint the problem exactly.

Post Re: Coconut Island!
I figured it out, I moved the community lots further away from each other by just a tiny bit and it seems to work 100% now. Have been finding these route failures for some bungalows(when visiting neighbors) which were related to bushes.

I think I'm just about done adding new stuff to the island so I'm back to strictly play testing(i'll upload an update soon). I made a few personalized bungalows so it wasn't all copy/paste;

Breezy Bungalow (it's like an indoor outdoor house)
Image

Bungalow Burger (extra pickles)
Image

Old Silo (cute little cramped space)
Image

Bungalow Manor (studio style living with 360 degrees of ocean viewing)
Image

and of course, the island
Image

I also added a few more hidden dungeons/chambers. I've had so much fun making this, and I can't wait to get World Adventures so I can make Tomb of the Coco Nut. :XD:

It really is too bad that we don't have boats or a swim-able ocean that would allow the Sims to travel from island to island Vs. having to attach every island with a land bridge. Oh well, it makes it look like an atoll with the land bridges anyway. Very cute.
