A user on the official forums posted a message relating to a Dutch store in what is supposedly the second expansion for TS3: The Sims 3: Hobbies and Professions, is listed.



Could be a remix of FT and Uni? Might as well be since I think they go great together.

The Sims 2 Freetime was one of my favourite Expansion Packs, so if this is true, I would probably enjoy it. However, these things are usually wrong. Also, June seems like a long time to wait for another EP.

Lol, I love the "some person who works at EA told me all their secrets!" Well guess what, I know the PRESIDENT of EA and he told me that's wrong Anyone can say anything they want, but usually when it involves someone claiming they know someone who works for the actual company, its just someone trying to get attention or start a rumor. Rumors are just that, rumors, and 90% of the time with EA they are false, so I won't believe anything till we get the little leaflet with another game telling us what it is.

I loved FreeTime, and while I would love to have a lot more options for jobs for my sims, I hope that's not true. I'm dying to have seasons and weather in my game.

Freetime was great and I'd definitely like to have more things for my sims to take up as hobbies and fill their spare time with, especially the overly annoying and useless elders, but this is just too unreliable. I'd be quite happy if this turned out to be true, but I also want seasons much more!

Well if it's real they BETTER include a wind instrument or two this time around!

Hmm, I think it would be very cool to mix these EP's together. I hope if they do it turns out alot better than the old ones such as:

-Not everyone moves into a dorm to go to college
-Not everyone in college is Young Adult
-More Careers and Skills would be nice
-Teaching jobs would be nice too (college professor, school teacher, etc)

Overall I think this EP, a Weather and Farming EP, and a Business EP would be very nice.

Awwww. I was rather hoping for Pets this time around, but freetime I can definitely live with. We'll see, I guess, there's indicators pointing in either direction.

Pets on TS2 failed.. I'm assuming it'd be the same for TS3.

Anywho, this EP sounds pretty good. XD

I want a nightlife ep.Not only do we need dating but also outings since our sims can do very little with thier friends. Hottubs are also needed as well as romantic interactions in cars and hottubs,blind dates,nightclubs etc. This needs to be the first ep.

I'd really rather have a Seasons/Weather EP first this time around.

I hoped that expansions take a different direction like the other games do instead of just making another game with a loading screen in it.

Perhaps a feature to expand the town into something bigger like a city.

Now that I think about it, Simcity 4 Rush Hour was the best expansion pack of all the Sim Games.

If the rumor was true, that EP wouldn't really have to add loading screens. You never saw your sims at school in Uni, so they could just add a rabbithole similar to the school that's there now. You could just place it on a community lot and send your sims there. And hobbies and new jobs wouldn't add loading screens either, just more activities and rabbitholes.

I don't know how we 'need' dating since sims can still fall in love in TS3.

And they're called friends for a reason, aren't they? It's not like friend translates to love interest.
