We didn't get too many bands where I live when I was a teen (it's only been the last decade I think that we've started getting anyone major). When I was 18 I saw the Tea Party, which was a pretty awesome concert even though it was small because that's just how Nova Scotia was (they were amazing!) and I went to see the Dixie Chicks with my mom. Even though I'm not a huge fan of them they were really great live! They had a really great opening act too that I really enjoyed. Bob Schnider was his name and he was unexpected because he wasn't country at all. Very much rock and some of his songs were a blues-rock.

I do regret not seeing the Smashing Pumpkins when they came. :( I'd also love to see Muse live. (They would never come here though and I don't have a lot of money to spend to travel just to see them. :( )

This summer I'm going to a music festival that has a load of bands playing...Passion Pit, Tegan and Sara, City and Color, Mumford and Sons, Local Natives, My Morning Jacket, Pavement, etc. So that should be good!

And tomorrow my dad and I are going to get tickets to TOM PETTY! =)

So basically I'm really, really poor but I go to lots of concerts.

Please help me win tickets to see one of my favorite bands, Vampire Weekend, at their sold out show at the House of Blues in Dallas (April 11, 2010)! I'm 16 and have never been to a concert before.

I'm not a big fan of concerts but I do love a good intimate gig. I went to see Utada in London a while back and the venue was tiny. :D

I've only been to one concert.. a few years ago on my birthday I went to see Yellowcard. At the time I didn't know who Yellowcard was, but I enjoyed the concert anyway. Someday I'd like to see more concerts.

My aunt knows the family personally, and he wouldn't of been as famous if it wasn't for who he knew then anything else. His music sounds very bland to me. Great lyrics, too similar production techniques and styles

I'm borderline obsessed with Angels & Airwaves right now.

I have a deep appreciation for John Mayer's music and his musical talent - it's definitely more of an "easy listening" or pop music but I've heard that he's pretty amazing when you see him live. I guess I'll find out!
