Well, in my honest opinion: PC > PS3/Xbox360

Because it does moar things; has moar games as a total therfore moar epic.

UK Store GAME have just tweeted that The Sims 3 on console is the exact same game on the PC, but with a few differences. This has come from the EA product showcase event in London today.

On a console? The game is adapted to run well on that specific hardware. As a port the likelyness of this going bad performance wise is small.

If the game ran slow, it would be pointless to port it.

SimTimes has also just confirmed that the PS3 and 360 versions will support a USB keyboard and mouse.

I'm guessing the wii port might also support USB keyboards

The Wii will have direct control with the nun-chuck.

I'm happy to see they have added pavements that actually raise like pavements.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the graphics on Wii and DS, especially the DS graphics, much better than previous Sims titles for DS, the UI just looks a bit rough.

IGN had the chance to talk to Executive Producer, Sam Player about the upcoming console versions of The Sims 3. They also posted 5 new screenshots.

All versions are looking excellent so far! I'm so impressed that EA have put in so much effort to make each game unique.

My only concern is, will a person be able to have kids on the console version, if so I'm all game. i like to play the sims on console's probably because I feel more involved rather than just clicking a mouse.

I sure hope they kept that in but, i know it takes a lot of space to pull that off.

I think aging will be included in the PS3 and 360 versions, we've already seen screenshots of children and teens. It wouldn't make sense to remove that feature. Don't worry.

Oh thank you! I sure hope they don't do anything to take it out, to make room for something uneeded, but this is good news. You saw some pics of teens and children for the console versions? Can you tell me what site you saw them on?
