I was wondering where do you guys suggest I preorder the game from? I know some sites deliver the game faster than others or even earlier than the release date on occasion. Which has been best from you experiences?

i don't usually preorder games, but the best experience i've had was with newegg.com..

the sims 3 release date was mixed up or something, so i received that copy a day or two before the release date.

Well if you have GAME in your country that would most definitely be the way to go, you receive a discount on any item purchased online as well as free postage. Basically you can save a lot of money after purchasing a few games there.

I am however not sure about postage times, it usually takes 1 - 2 days however i don't know if this applies to pre-orders or if you would receive it on or before the day of release.

I second what mitchmacca said.... I find that EB games (I live in Canada) has been great for pre-ordering so far. They haven't failed me .

You could always, you know, go down to the store itself and buy it on the release date.

doing this has never failed me.

I actually just ordered it from EA store, and IT WAS THERE on release day. Cool, huh?

I have it preordered at my local gamestop along with the sims 3 console ps3 which comes out the same day.

Lately i've been ordering from EAstore. I ordered Sims 3 & Ambitions through them & had no problems so i'll most likely use them for Late Night.

I don't recommend Amazon. They sent my Sims 2 base game preorder late and everyone had the game before I did. /: That was the last time I ever preordered something because it wasn't a good experience.

Well i actually tried to pre-order from EA, but it'll be available as a download only. That is kinda horrible I like to have my games physically... And EA gave me 10 euro's off games because of my birthday last summer.. So it's really bugging me..

EA is the best in my opinion. I always preorder from there. Ambitions shipped on a friday and the release date wasn't until tuesday. I Got the game 1 day early on monday. So I always preorder from EA

The only way i can get it at EA-store.com is trough downloading it..

I've always pre-ordered my games from EB Games and that has never failed me so far. Let's see if they don't fail me this time .

Darn, they never ship anything to me when I pre-order.

But that might be because I went digital download.

Well I just found out that by pre-ordering through Gamestop, you get 2 new hairstyles and 2 different locations as a bonus. I'm not sure if other sites or stores offer any pre-order bonuses, that may influence where you choose to get your game.

I'm pre-ordering from EA through download. I have all the other EP through download too and it works out well for me. I hope they would let us pre-download it at midnight or something though.
