There seems to be a serious lack of discussion about FL, so I'm wondering if everyone just thinks that this SP is going to be a dud.
Personally, I always need a complete collection, so I preordered it and am giving it the benefit of the doubt. So are you buying Fast Lane or are you going to give it a miss?

I don't see the point in it, simply because the CC community is so vast, and includes many brand name cars which can look better than what EA makes.

I'm picking it up tomorrow at gamestop were I have it preordered. The convertable was the clincher for me. It has some nice clothes and hairs as well and a pretty cool new motorcycle and scooter.

I'll probably get it when I get a job. So its on my long list of things I want to buy when I save some money up.

I'm with Erry on this one the only thing I want out of this SP is the motorcycle. I probably could just wait, as I suspect some CC ones will probably popup after this gets released, but they might also require this SP to use

But my answer is no.
For a number of reasons:

1. I said I wasn't going to get stuffpacks for ts3, as they just collect dust on my shelf.

2. The objects and hair are all very much 'themed' and not even subtley, and will just look stupid in a town, a one man race car zooming around sunset valley? No thanks.

3. Even the bike (which was originally something i was considering it for) is large and way out of proportion, with a terrible position the sim sits on it.

4. Money. EA wants mine, Ea don't get mine.

what are the new items ? some new hair,Cloths, is there any thing new apart from cars?

There's a couple new misc items, a small amount of furniture, 3 of which I thought actually looked decent. Really though, this SP isn't that great. And to spit in it's face, Fresh Prince has reminded the community that his cars are much nicer by releasing some new ones Honestly it's just not worth the money

It's terrible and awful, don't buy it, seriously.

There are a tiny handful of new clothes, many of which are horrible looking racing gear that nobody is ever, ever going to use, there are two female hairstyles that basically look the same, and this hideous male hairstyle that's like a giant wedge of cheese sitting on top of the head.
A couple of the cars are nice, most of them you'd never use (those two Formula 1 racing cars for example), and all of the headlights look like they're massive stickers that have been plastered on.
I do however like the Intrigue furniture, as well as all the garage/shed stuff, but that's about it.
Oh, and the new sim/car relationship is just plain weird.

I was seriously considering it.. but when I looked into what it actually came with it really just doesn't interest me much. I don't think I'd really use it. I'd be more interested in getting High-End Loft Stuff but I'm trying to stay away from stuff packs completely this time around.. if I get one I might end up getting them all and I really regretted that with Sims 2 (if I could go back in time I'd only have bought two or three of those Sims 2 stuff packs).

I won't be getting it. This pack doesn't interest me at all and Stuff Packs altogether are usually a disappointment in my opinion.

Apart from the stupid themed clothes which i will never use (and also draik, you can get that hair in the store for free anyways, or one similar to it), I hear it only comes with cars, and some useless 'garage' type decor, and seeing as i don't even make garages anyway, its a waste..
In a way I think its a shame, because if people don't buy this, they'll think 'masculine' type stuff packs won't work as well, which of course they will, they just... made this one crap.

Still, this doesn't make me struggle against my willpower to not get stuffpacks at all for ts3, as I have no desire for some rediculously austentatious cars, hairs and outfits, that I will never use, and if a sim generates them, I have a feeling I'll be changing it anyways..

And who seriously wants a racecar going around their tiny town?? :l
