Wow, that video was awesome!! One more week... I don't know how I'll get through it!

I have to gush about a few things. The new bubble blower is awesome and I love the shuffleboard table and the curved pools! The city looks so awesome and like a real big city. I LOL'd at the slutty clothes the female bartenders were dressed in, that's awesome. The celebrity thing looks cool and the paparazzi is a fun addition.

Lastly, vampires. The biting is so cool and it's neat how their icons are surrounded in red in the relationship panel so you know which of your friends is a vampire. Damn, I can't wait for this game!!

Take this is video as an actual accurate representation of the game. There was no way the clubs were going to be packed like in the trailer, the real Expansion Packs never turn out that way. It's just to get us all (falsely) hyped.

Apart from the music, this video has gotten me so much more excited than the trailer (I really like the 3OH!3 song ). This video showed so much more about the actual game, it gave us a big look into what the game would actually look like, I noticed a few things, some good some bad.
- The city looks amazing! It blows Downtown from NL away.
- There are a lot of the same old items in bars (i.e. the same wall decor)
- Skinny dipping!
- Awesome new rabbit holes, great theatre!
- The town looks amazing but I'm not blown away with the homes that we got to see, I'm going to need to be doing a lot of redesigning.
- At 0:49 there's a really cool wallpaper with stars on it that's perfect for nightclubs!
- Subways are super fast!
- Lots of new neighbourhood decorations, the bridge looks amazing when lit up.
- The oxygen bar is such a classic Sims-style object, wacky and crazy, which is something that I've been missing in TS3.
- The mixologist "career" looks really cool!
- The film set lot looks so cool, reminds me of superstar!
- I love the fans and paparazzi that follow you around if you're a celebrity.
- The new pool building options look amazing, way better than Season's curved walls.
- The butler was wearing a monocle!
- The vampire bed looks super cool.
- The red and black "bat" animation when someone is bitten is really well done.
- I think the water animations (pools and rivers) has been updated because it looks even better than before!
- The Edward Cullen-style running is a great addition, makes me want a vampire sim so I don't have to wait for them to move around town!
- Vampires seem to burn in the sun, but the Sim didn't really look like she cared cause she wasn't running.
- We have a rare occurrence! A creature that can reproduce (only Aliens and Plantsims could).
- The vampire child didn't look like she was unhappy in the sun either, I would've loved if they would go to school at night or something.
- Objects that look awesome, dartboard, shuffleboard, halfwalls, arcade games(!) and some new community/outdoor objects.
- The muscle and sliders are really well done, they make Sims look like the Jersey Shore.
- The little clip of the limo driving on the bridge at the end of the video made me so excited, it looks so good!!

Offtopic: Wut? Zombies could reproduce, Vampires could reproduce, Servos could reproduce (I think), Werewolves could reproduce and witches could reproduce. o-o

ANYWAYS, I like the look of this expansion, but it no longer motivates me to go on TS3, it doesn't look drastic enough imho. I don't even know what I want from TS3 anymore. xD Oh wait I do! Reliablity, and no fear that it's gonna crash in 3 minutes.

Reproduce with their respective powers/appearance intact, which is what Aliens and Plantsims had in TS2.

Did anyone notice the snow capped mountain above the waterfall? You have to look carefully but it's there. This I believe is a hint that weather is the next ep.

I don't know. To me it's just a snow capped mountain.

However, I do really hope that Seasons is the next EP.

I think EA put the snow on a mountain as a hint.

I honestly don't think that EA gives us hints. Has there been evidence of hints or is it just the imagination of the players?

Anyways with the new Sims 3 console game comming out, it has weather. Make any conclusion that you want from that but weather would be a key selling point to the new TS3 console game in my opinion. So I'm thinking that weather might not be next in line just because it could ruin the sales for the new console TS3 game.

I'm hoping for university because now that my sims are going to be able to party like no tommorow, they will also need an education; we also need an EP that could actually challenge the player as well.

Weather is only confirmed for the wii and ds versions not the ps3/360. I would also like a university ep.

I would have like that they didn't do the movie career as a rabbit Hole and did it as they did in superstar.

Does anybody knoes the question I asked higher up in the thread about the bands if they can consist of 3 Guitars and a Drums ,Because aLL the clips I saw all Consist of a bass and piano.

Well, as with all Sims games this one has been leaked fairly early. I must say that I'm VERY impressed with most things. I'm not too happy with the format of apartments, but it's overall it's the best expansion pack. I've had a lot of fun with the new build tools, but I haven't had enough time to play the game with school and work and everything. What a shame :(
