Yep only $50 this time. I do plan to buy the expansions eventually though so that number will increase. I'm staying as far away from stuff packs as possible this time though!

I got them from GAME, but I got them like, two days before LN, so I didn't pay as much as I would have, otherwise Ambitions would have been £30 pounds or something. ;D

If you want to try and cheer yourself up I suggest looking at the Sims 2 version of this thread, there isn't even enough Sims 3 add-ons out yet to be able to spend as much as a lot of us did on that game (unless you count the Sims 3 store.. but I don't since I never bought anything from it).

Yes, I believe I weighed in on that topic with my total as well and it's definitely higher. And then I just gave all my games away to my best friend... I think I get my money's worth out of them though.

WHEW!! I feel a little bit better lol........ but I'm pretty sure I will reach that limit once more EP and Stuff Packs come out......

I should probably factor in the computer I bought to play it on, there's another $1200. Plus Medieval's going to set me back $110, and TS3 for the 3DS will be $60ish.
The Sims 2 cost me about $750 all up, that's not counting the Stories spin-offs either.

My parents bought me The Sims 3 base game for Christmas in 2009. It was on sale for $30. And a friend bought me Late Night. Unfortunately, it wasn't on sale. D:

However, I spent a lot of my own money on The Sims 1 and The Sims 2.

my friend got me sims 3 for christmas and my parents did too, i didn't ask for it from either of them... That must show how much i talked about sims 2 O.o
Then my parents bought me world adventures and i was like stop buying me sims games! I didn't even want it but we waited to late to return it for the money -_-
It still hasn't been opened though. i wonder if i could sell it somewhere for cash.

Consider yourself lucky! I remember just 2 birthdays receiving the Sims Expansion pack....Sims 1 Unleashed, and the Sims 2 Open for Business. LOL I bought the rest simply because I could not wait until my birthday or Christmas

Well, as I said it's only The Sims 3 that I've got the free ride.

I did get at least a couple of The Sims 2's EPs as gifts, though. I don't remember much about The Sims 1, but I believe I did pay for most of the EPs if not all of them (aside from Vacation, which I know my cousin gave me).
