You can now change your own username. Got to account settings in your user control panel. Once there just type in your new name and put in your password in the box under Confirm Changes. Hit submit and done!

And if you have 1,000 posts or more you can have a custom rank and a rank image. Just let me know the color and the rank is via PM or here in the topic and it will be put in for you. :]
