Coming from someone who has the world... it's seriously not worth any more than $5 max. This is absolutely pathetic and pretty much confirms every belief that I have that EA doesn't give half a damn about the game and its players anymore, and is in it for the money.

BUT, the release of this in stores could hint at beach activities included in Generations. BB is basically all beach anyway, and it's hella boring at the moment. Fortunately this is probably an indicator that swimming will be included in EP4. UNfortunately, Barnacle Bay is probably only being released so that nooby players with a pocketful of their parents money will go looking for a beach-themed neighbourhood to use and BAM there's BB right there on the shelf next to Generations.

The only reason that I would ever get BB is for the rabbitholes since I want some more variety of different places in my CAW. But I would only be willing to pay $3.00 for those..

With that aside, EA is just money-sucking at this point. People, don't get it! BB is a waste of money and there are better worlds out there for FREE. I'm also not understanding why they decided to waste resources to make a game case + disk for BB. Same with the stuff packs; EA should claim to "go green" with the TS3 franchise and make all of the stuff packs direct-downloads instead of wasting resources to make a game case for it.

Personally haven't played BB yet, but is it or is it not just another glitch filled neighborhood? And oh god. Does this mean that in the future EA will feel the right to release EPs, SPs, and NHs in stores? Jesus, this is bad. Think about it, EA is now selling LOTS on their websites, LOTS. LOL. That stupid Gym, I'm sure you could get equal or better stuff on MTS or other. Damn, this is a shame

Ew, BB. Wtf is going on with EA, seriously? I remember back in the TS2 days where you could get this crap for free and now you have to pay for anything?

But yeah, I'm still amazed that they waste a manufacturer's time to make the software when they could just make it a direct-download on the store site or something.

The sad part is that it probably is SO cheap for EA to release that addon... CDs are so cheap, I'm sure that the packaging isn't much either. They obviously already have production line associates... I just still think it's a waste.

What makes me laugh more is the fact that there was some bragging that the pack includes "new exclusive objects". These exclusive objects are 2 extra staircases. HOLY SHIT.

They are releasing it in stores? o_O My respect for EA is now nearly non-existent.

I think that releasing it as a code as a box is even more ridiculous than the idea of releasing Barnacle Bay by itself. If they were going to try and charge for it in stores I think the best way for them to do it would be to re-release the base game, (all old EPs) and the next EP with a code for Barnacle Bay, but charge 10 dollars extra, so it seems as if people are getting more bang for their buck, when it's really more buck for more suck.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this EP will be sloppy. Lacking on Advertisements, busy with Medieval.. . . Late Night had a lot of hype, correct? When is this EP on track to release on?

I can't believe it comes with nothing but a card in the case. It's so ridiculous and a huge money grab. I wouldn't be surprised if EA just started shitting in the game cases and charging $20 to buy it in the store.

I feel as if I should start boycotting EA because that move was so not Earth friendly.

I really hope generations doesn't suck! but now that i think about it, your right, they are putting a lot of focus in other games. I really thought if generations was done right, I would have liked it. But i could see it adding only objects and new socials, and the tree house will probably just be a re-decorating of the playground thingy. *sigh*
