Quite pleased with all the little things, actually. THRILLED with bedtime stories. How adorable. I missed the tucking in of Sims 2.
Unfortunately, none of my children will experience it as I also cannot wait to enroll all of my children into after-school activities and also expect them to maintain straight As. One B and it's MILITARY SCHOOL FOR YOU.
Poor little bastards.

Poor little bastards. Now that's good parenting.

Re: Expansion Pack 4: The Sims 3 Generations
I wish that learner sims had L plates on their cars, that would be cool, but i guess it would take a bit of time on EA's part because they'd need to fit them to evevery shape car. What if the sim has no parents? Will they never be able to drive? i hope that sims won't be able to drive as adults if they don't learn first, it would make it a little more interesting, besides, my sims always take taxi's everywhere anyway, i hardly ever give them cars! :P

LOL I'm glad they added this feature for teens to learn how to drive, makes it much more realistic! I remember driving like that my first time :) ...mostly abruptly stopping and going like every few seconds lol.

That gameplay video was cool to see! The imaginary friend looks totally creepy but I do love them. I like that you don't know what they will look like when they are brought to life.
I was skeptical at first but I'm actually really excited about this EP now. It seems like EA has added a lot of little things that will enrich the whole game and make it seem more realistic. I'm still bitter that we probably aren't getting a new world though. That would really make this EP a lot more exciting for me.

Re: Expansion Pack 4: The Sims 3 Generations
This EP is a wonderful grab bag. Deffinately unconventional EA. I feel like this is a must have for summer! With all those features, I can't complain, but I still wanted doing boards!!!
But anyways, I really like how this EP has a broad focus rather than a few main concepts. It seems like it let's you just play rather than have to worry about certain events. And a lot of those features seem pretty open ended. Let's hope EA doesn't pull any of the features before release! I have a feeling that learning to drive will get pulled, IMO

Here is some extra info I found about the IF (it really sucks there are 2 EP4 threads btw) http://www.gamerzines.com/pc/previews/i ... tions.htmlQuote: If you really love the imaginary friend it can become real and if it isn't as important to you as a player or for your sim, they might just turn back into a doll again. Seems like the doll can never truly become "real". I wonder if "real" imaginary friends can die? If so, do they turn into a doll or a ghost? I also wonder this: If my sim ignores his IF for a while and he turns into a doll, then starts playing with the doll again, will the same IF appear again? With the same memories? Quote: Yeah you can still have your imaginary friend later in life. You might turn them real, but you certainly don't have to. You might have an insane sim, maybe you give them a trait and they are a little off the wall; an imaginary friend makes a lot of sense for them.

Re: Expansion Pack 4: The Sims 3 Generations
I wonder, if the imaginary friend becomes real and is added to the household, will they take up one of the 8 alloted sim spots in a household? If so, I wonder what happens when there are already 8 sims in a house, can the imaginary friend not become real? I don't think that point as been discussed so far...

I wish there was no limit to the amount of sims per household, and EA could just strongly advise a number between 1 and 8.

Offtopic: Am I really amazing if I got it working by...you know...putting it in my mods folder, then making a config on the netz?I don't understand you people? How would anyone want to play with 8+ sims? I got 6, one goes to school, 2 works and 1 is a fireman. That is 4 people I need to have happy and ready like 7 in the morning. God I hate firefighters...

Am I the only one who is completely stoked about the ability to set the number of days for each life stage. Babies are so going to be one day only for me.

I'm also excited for this new feature. I secretly enjoy the pregnancy stage, I wish you could extend it to like 5 days or something instead of 3. I highly doubt you could change the pregnancy timeline. BUT I'm glad I could individually set each stage life a number of days I want 8{^_^}8! I'm not sure how many days per life stage I would want. Offtopic: Babies are so adorable!!
