Naughty Neighbor by Janet Evanovich. I finally picked it back up. I had been reading another book and well I also started reading One For the Money by Janet Evanovich again.

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It's about a modern architect who is shunned by the people who favor classical architecture. As with all novels by Rand, it is about how everybody who disagrees with her should die.

I'm reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. So far, it's really good. I'll have to watch the movie once I've finished the book.

^ recommend you watch the movie first. i watched the movie before reading the book and thought 'omg what an amazing movie' then read the book and rewatched the movie and hated the movie for its inaccuracies and made up parts :/

I know, that's usually the way I feel about movies when I have already read the book. I have never found a movie that is as good as or better than the book. :ton:

American Psycho. I'm not sure if I like it. Yuppies bore the heck out of me, even murdering yuppies. The author lists the brand of every single article of clothing, every single character in the book is wearing. And the brands of every item used. I like Armani, but I can get sick of hearing about it every other sentence. But, at the same time I am aware that the author is showing how obsessed yuppies are with brand names, and materialism in general.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. I really like it, but I like almost anything dystopian. It's kind of hard to understand the argot, though.

I second this. Movie = great. Book = greater. Movie in comparison to book = TERRIBLE.

I'm reading Catching Fire. Whoever spoke about The Hunger Games on here got me really interested, so I read it and now I'm addicted. I'm also really excited for the movie. Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman is a very good cast choice.

I see Jennifer Lawrence, and I think, oh my God. Could they have got a more perfect Katniss?
I don't know if it was because I read the book after she was announced, but she's just everything I imagined her to be, if not better.
Not too sure about Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, though. I pictured him more as Gale.
