Scryer wrote: Yeah... About WA... I dont think that people will realize that it is actually a fun EP until most of the EP's are released. For the record I think that WA>AMB. I'm still wanting a Seasons EP and an EP that opens up community lots more such as clothing stores, restaurants, etc.
Andijvie, what more building options would you want? Oh, I like WA, but I think it's a bad first EP, it takes you out of everyday simlife immediately and I think that's a weird move just months after launching the base game. But it's definitely a nice EP. And about more building options; I just want decks with different heights for building more elaborate split-level houses and apartments. And just some more door and window options (like space saver doors, you can get those at MTS, so I'm happy, but I think EA should add those as well). I'm not asking much :P

Re: Expansion Pack 4: The Sims 3 Generations
I've been watching the live chat that was on friday, and they didn't really show things we didn't already know, but I loved seeing the demo. The memory scrapbook looks great! Can't wait to start with a legacy when I get Generations, I think this EP is really great for legacy players!
Also; the EP will sell for €29,99 here, I think it's a fair price.

Also you're no longer allowed to diss Australian retailers because they're giving away an ocarina with preorders of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I wish I was australian right now. :(

I'm not sure where it originated, but it's more simplistic and sounds quite a bit like a recorder. They should give them away in America, as well. I could always use a new wind instrument. Do we even get anything in America for pre-ordering OOT? Probably would be wise to pre-order OOT, as there's said to be a shortage. Generations, though... I'm not sure why anybody would pre-order it. It's not like they're going to run out of them. lol.

I preordered Generations off EA.com to get the free Outdoor Living Stuff.

Re: Expansion Pack 4: The Sims 3 Generations
I also preordered and received an email 11 hours ago that it shipped. Sadly, we probably won't receive it until Tuesday since EA decided to release the game a day after a holiday, Memorial Day. As a result, UPS doesn't deliver this upcoming Monday.
Preordering was totally worth it though since we get a free stuff pack and no shipping costs.

The new patch was leaked and it seems there's a new "edit sim in cas" cheat.

All those things that made Energy, Hunger, Bladder etc. fall slower went poof! after using editSim with AwesomeMod. I hope the game version doesn't do that.

Ambitions had a game manual. I believe that Generations didn't have a game manual because there was nothing relevant to put it in - no big features or changes, just a glorified Stuff Pack.

If it is ignore this. EA announced recently that they would no longer print out game manuals anymore. They're still providing them (digitally) online or something, though.
