 So you got it?
I believe it was released today, or for some people a little bit earlier. Start bringing in your own personal reviews!

 Re: So you got it?
I'm not buying anything until they patch the game, because glitches...that's one thing that EA sure how to add into their games!

 Re: So you got it?
My first impressions of it are that it is an okay EP, but I'm satisfied with what it has to give... but I'm really put down by how lazy EA was and made minimal objects in it.

 Re: So you got it?
I'm probably not going to get it til summer because, I have Finals June 13-17th. I'm afraid if I play it, I'll get sucked in, and not study. Because, here's the lowdown. we have 2 more weeks of instruction, and the second week is deffinately a reviews week. I HOPE. The problem is, I'd only have one weekend to play it. I mean, I /could/, but I also want to start reviews for finals that week.
Idk.. I have the money, I /could/ buy it, but I also want to buy it later so that the patches are all cleared and everything.

I'm not going to vote in this even though I haven't gotten it yet. I'll wait until I can give a better answer than I haven't bought it.
Living in Ireland, I'll be waiting until Friday to get the game. I haven't pre-ordered it...but I'm not worried that it'll be sold out or anything.

I'm still waiting for my preorder to arrive. Memorial Day delayed it. I'll probably have an opinion tomorrow though.

 Re: So you got it?
EDIT I just created a new thread for this topic. I got my game today. Along with it, my game updated itself (I can't remember if it was a patch or just a regular game update). Unfortunately, it messed up my sims' relationships. Each time I open up the game, I'm not friends with anyone, not even my own fiance. By the time I built up new relationships and then exited the game and went back in, it happened again (no friends). What's worse is, I cannot seem to ask my sims' love interest to be her boyfriend. The dating system is alright, but I cannot seem to get further than love interest relationship. I'm guessing you'd have to go on a lot of dates to ask them to be their girl/boyfriends (or go steady). Also, when I decided to go ahead and try for a baby, I exited the game, and went back in, and my sim's supposed-boyfriend is a stranger to her while she is pregnant. Does anybody else have this problem?

Now that more people probably have it, does anyone else have any opinions on it to share?

 Re: So you got it?
My Opinion is not to buy it until they make an update and arrange the bugs and glitches the game have, which are not few. there you have my opinion since nobody is reading in the bugs and glitches thread

 Re: So you got it?
At first, I was disappointed with Generations because it didn't really change my game very much. Then I started actually playing with some of the interactions, experimenting with potions, pranks, imaginary friends, weddings, bachelor/ette parties, sleepovers, after school classes, boarding schools, and I actually really love the pack. I find that it enriches my sim's everyday lives and makes them less boring and mundane and more realistic.

 Re: So you got it?
None of those options fit me.
I no longer have any desire to buy the EP at a really cheap price. It is a complete and total waste of money and I will not give EA a cent for it.

They gave away most of Generations' features in an update anyways (body-hair, memories, etc) so I really don't think that this EP holds a candle to the others.
