PC/Mac Game Update for 1.22 - Mac Only Game Update for 2.16/3.12/4.9/5.7/6.4/7.2/8.0 Discuss joys, successful fixes, playability, issues, or potentially warn others "OH MY GAHHH THIS PATCH CAUSED MOAR PROBLEMS PLEASE DON'T DOWNLOAD". But personally, I wouldn't know. I haven't updated it yet. http://www.thesims3.com/community/news. ... #626705997 Apparently, installing the patch on Mac will make the game totally unplayable. As in, will not load at all. I creeped on Sims 3 forums and pretty much everyone using a mac has announced this problem. I use a mac so obviously I will not be downloading this yet. Edit: Uh. I just found a thread about the patch in Generations. Should I remove this? Re: May 31/2011 Patch Update Discussion EADM have disable auto update. Now EA Store and EADM become Origin. PC player must install Origin :
http://www.origin.com/about Or get the patch 1.22 (644 MB) and Sims3launcher will be able to download the patch 2.17/3.13/4.10/5.8/6.5/7.3/8.1. Re: May 31/2011 Patch Update Discussion ^ Yup! When you go to update or install EA Download manager, it will direct you to Origin and you can use your Sims3.com account if you have one, or make a new one.

Re: May 31/2011 Patch Update Discussion now see i tried that and it did update, but now whenever i try playing the game, i just get a popup that says the game is incompatible with the game disc. and i havnt been able to play since.
