Post Sims online might be coming back...
I discovered there is a group of people slowly working on bringing it back for free and helping people make their own severs if they wish.
This made my day because I've been wanting to play that game for so long because I miss it. They might even be able to add things into the game, it'll just take time.

Ooh that's pretty awesome! I never played TSO but I wanted to. I'd love to see it back. :D

Oh god haha. I remember playing this. I must have been about 12/13. I'm not sure why I spent so long on it because when I think about it, it was really boring with little to do.

No, this is going to be free... had it been pay-only, then it would be illegal.

I'm pretty sure it infringes on copyright and software license agreements haha. I know Blizzard has been successful in shutting down private WoW servers. Even though TSO/EA Land no longer is active, I'm still sure EA still have all the rights to it.

Mehh.. with it being an open source community project, expecially if they have to remake all the animations and stuff, it's only semi-illegal. If they make money on it, fine, but as long as it's free, I'm sure EA will close their eyes to it.

Actually, it's not illegal. If it's free and nobody is making money off of it. Then EA can't do shit about it even if they think they can.

This is why the Equestria Online guys are still around.

Also, it's Hasbro, they don't care.
