Once I got Generations, I started the legacy challenge in Sunset Valley. I'm already on the 2nd generation. I just love the name I gave my founder.

I've had Ambitions for a long time but I've only just started all the different career options. My first impressions? Pretty boring and menial. They're practically like chores that I don't want to do.

I like some of them! I have 3 professions in one household that all start around different times, so i'm pretty balanced with quests!

Yep I am! :D Despite the fact that my game is trying to eat my legacy family.

Right now, I'm starting up TS3 to edit Sunset Valley. Then I'm going to move my legacy family there and hope to Plumbobs that it doesn't error out again. If it does I'll have to take more drastic measures that I really don't want to take.

Well i've started a new neighborhood once i got my laptop back from repair, it never could play the sims without shutting down and my hard drive crashed, but any ways i wanted to see if the sims would crash on my computer again, so i made a sim, got her a job at the bookstore and made friends with Simis. After some time they started an affair, which resulted in two kids, Sage and Simon, who have never met their siblings Bella and Michael. I think i'll end their relationship and just have her meet some guy to marry or something. And in all this i'm most happy that my game has been running smoothly!

I just got sick of the family I've been playing on for a couple of weeks so I'm going to start a new legacy family today.

My Sims adopted a daughter, and I installed a firemen's pole from the living room into the teenage boy's basement bedroom. I had to remove it for spiral staircases after the daughter went down and couldn't go back up again.

I packed up my sims games... I'm at my dads now. And will be for a few weeks. Gonna either A) Die of lack of Sims &or B) Lose all want to play.

Hopefully, he'll let me install it on his macbook. MAYBE. It's a new Macbook Pro, 15 inch, and has the two graphics cards. Will that have reasonable specs? And is installing custom content easy, hard? How about installation itself??

I'm doing the legacy challenge on the Sims 3 notes on their facebook page. Anyone else doing it?

I have a PC, but I once looked at a 15" macbook pro. I asked the sales guy if it would be okay to run smoothly on it because I also had to have photoshop and illustrator installed for school. He said it would. It's the macbook air that won't work with the Sims 3.

omfg, I hate the elevators. Why do they never work? I was in a club for my Sims wedding (lol) and after it, everyone tried to leave by no one could go down it and everyone peed themselves. I had to reset everyone there.

After packing up my legacy family to Sunset Valley, building them a new house and such they are finally good. :D I'm currently playing a household of seven, about to be eight in less than two sim days. XD So I've been following around a pregnant sim, trying to get two others to their LTWs and keeping two more busy. I hate playing such full households. But ugh, my fault, of course.

Oyy, I know how you feel. Generation 3 was a mess to raise with 5 kids. I was so satisfied with only having 4 sims to control for a time, but that is even a challenge when they all are older. I was so happy when the elders died and I moved out unused syblings, but now the heir is married and 2nd kid just came, and it's filling up again :wha: I think I need to tough it out and have a lot of kids... everyone achieved or is close to achieveing their LTW, I'm gonna have nothing to do anyways except make a lot of money.. I may have everyone retire early and enjoy life.. Idk.

Aha I know just what you mean. I went from 4 sims to almost 8 and it's like "aaaahhhh". But I mean, everyone's fine and there's no problem. I just feel slightly overwhelmed. Nobody works though except one sim now. Everyone else is at home doing their own thing. Think I might get one or two of them jobs just to get them out of my hair. Not sure. Possibly I just need to stop being so controlling.

I haven't actually played the game in weeks, I've been building building building and sculpting sculpting sculpting. I did playtest my megaworld the other day to see how it works so far with the Goth family, which was a welcome relief from all the lot-building I've been doing. Bella had an affair with one of the mixologists (I didn't tell her to, I was playing as Cassandra and the next thing I knew Bella and Ahmed were making out) and moved into Watervista Palace with him. It was very disturbing.

I started a legacy a couple of weeks ago, and considering I was off last week I didn't play on it as much as I thought I would. Anyway, played a couple of hours last night. Let me introduce you...

The James Legacy. Elizabeth is my founder, her LTW is to be Forensic Analyst, she is currently at level 9 (I think) at the moment. She and partner, Pierre, who past away last night at the grand-old age of 111, never got married (I could never get that option to appear :-(, but never mind), they have 3 children, Ryan, Luka & Maisie. Maisie is thanks to everyone who gave me adice about getting a girl, 3 watermelons worked a treat :-D
Ryan is a teen, and last night Elizabeth gave him his first driving lesson. His LTW is to be a Scientist. Luka is only a child and baby Maisie, born out of wedlock, according to the rumours, but really she was just born after her father passed away.
Haven't decided who is going to carry on my legacy just yet, guess I'll have to see to how it goes.

Post Re: What have you recently been doing in The Sims?
Hey so I'm gonna update here a bit... So, ghost girl turned real, fast forward, she is dead, and her 3 kids are adults and move out. I chose the flirty player sim and chose the heartbreaker LTW... this is going to be such a challenge for me. Because he accidentally knocked her up (my baaad,) he married his first & greatest highschool girlfriend, Juliet. (lawl lawl lawl). He has 2 other loves, PLENTY of single girls in town, and strong ties to friends. Anyways, I'm worried. Because, up til now, I have always played such perfect families. I am challenging myself with divorce, breakups, fighting, and possibly child neglect. To help myself, they have a "happy" marriage so far, their child Annamarie (first of Generation 5! [6 if you count the founders!]) is really cute, and she's a doll. I'm already falling in love with that child!!! But yeah, so I pose myself with ditching her and her mom to go flirt / marry / impregnate 9 other sims. THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD, BUT I'M UP FOR A CHALLENGE. Anyways, I am just scared I won't cope too well with violencing my sims xD
