The Sims 3 Pets: Appaloosa Plains! UPDATED WITH MORE PICS!
Posted by SimFans & iSims, we have 8 new images and a name for the new neighborhood, Appaloosa Plains! Discuss what you think and see the images here! (Source: SimPrograms) Also, as a bonus, here is a picture of Doggie gravestones! I really like the look and feel of the town, but I really can't wait to see video of it! Someone else mentioned and I agree that the rabbit holes look much better here, and I think EA is starting to create towns that distinguish between Sunset Valley's vibrant and happy, cartoony feeling to realistic, autumn feeling. What do you think? EDIT! Here are some new pictures thanks to SimPrograms via SimsExchange! Also, here's another roundup thanks to chippy! [/spoiler]

These rabbit holes > Sunset Valley's and whatever else is there.

I love love love love LOVE the new rabbit holes and the pictures of the new towns! They have a totally different look; the hospital has a Spanish-style and looks like it belongs in Mexico or the Southern USA. I also love the look of the theater, it's so... retro, for lack of a better word.

I absolutely love the look of this town. I agree that the rabbit holes look so much better than the ones we have in SV and the other towns.
I'll be honest I'm not that excited about the pets themselves (I hardly ever used them in Sims2) but I'm glad we're getting a new neighborhood with a different vibe.

I can't wait to play that time. I wonder if it will interact with the Seasons EP? Like, will the trees turn green? Also, those leaves terrains are gonna screw everything up.
But i put it this way, EA did it good in Sims 2 (making the neighborhoods seasonized), why couldn't they do it in this game?

They all look great individually, but they don't really all seem to fit together in a ''set'' or ''theme'' to me. I'm sure they'll look fine... Anyone else noticed that there still isn't a lot of flat and/or empty ground for expansion?? There is a bit on the lower area near the water, I assume we can use that.... I wonder how the ambitions/late night lots will work here.... will they be randomly plopped like they were in sunset valley? I hope not!

I think this neighborhood is wonderful I'm glad EA is doing a different approach for the new neighborhood, we haven't had anything quite like this. I think it would be a lot of fun to experience this neighborhood from a horse's perspective lol.

Re: The Sims 3 Pets: Appaloosa Plains! UPDATED WITH MORE PIC
I think that the new town is very pretty.
With that said I can already tell that you won't be able to fit in every lot that each EP has. Imagine trying to fit in bars, clubs, etc into Appaloosa Plains. Actually I wonder how much I have to struggle to add in the Pets lots into my neighbourhood...

Re: The Sims 3 Pets: Appaloosa Plains! UPDATED WITH MORE PIC
Why does every horse accomadating house appear to have jumps?? People don't keep their horses in the same place they keep the jumps. Its dangerous to the horses. At least they have moveable ones they can put out if they don't have a seperate area. That house third from the bottom looks like it doesn't have enough land to legally own a horse! Still, the houses look really nice X2 on loving the crypt!

I love the look of this town! EA seems to be getting more creative with their decorations, like the abandoned buildings, and that adds so much more realism to it! I can see this town becoming my new favourite!

Question time! Are we getting 3 restaurants? The cafe, the old diner, and the 2 storey buidling with the patio out front.

Re: The Sims 3 Pets: Appaloosa Plains! UPDATED WITH MORE PIC
I really like the world, but I can't picture where the wild herd of horses will fit into this. Its' hardly big enough (i'm not complaining, I actually much prefer smaller worlds) But I can imagine them eventually strolling through the town centre...
