I think it was the demo. I checked the options and everything, well the most important was on the highest. I even maxed the anti-aliasing but it still looked the same. So I guess it's the demo... I hope :)

I downloaded the demo and then my sims 3 game stopped working.

I guess that means I can't play the demo anymore if I want my sims 3 game to live

Since most people are having problems with the demo and their Sims 3 game, I decided not to download the demo on my desktop that has all my Sims 3 games, but I downloaded it to my laptop from Amazon.com.

I encountered just one problem - when creating the cat or dog, their faces are grayed out like it's the outer-shell of milkshape (I don't even know how to explain it lol). Everything else works fine. I would rather wait until the Pets EP comes out for my desktop. I don't know why EA always release buggy demos and games

Thats why I renamed my Electronic Arts folder completely. The Demo is running out of a new one now. Seems safe in my eyes.

Annnnyways, here is the first pet I created! Her name is Lilly. I doubt she looks realistic, and I'm not sure what I was going for, but it WAS my first time :D



If anyone wants to guess what breed she is, that'd be great. I kinda made it randomly.

I tried that but the sims 3 didn't recognise my save files once i've changed the EA folder name. Found out that if i change the name and then after exiting demo delete the new EA file and rename the old one back to Electronic Arts then my sims 3 game works. :) so now I can play both :) thanks for the advice

Looking at her again, I guess that's what I was going for. I mean, it is my dream dog, really. That's funny that it ended up looking like that without me saying at the start "okay, I want a Labrador Retriever" I think if I move the cheeks (flab) down a bit more it'd look better. Also, make the ears more yellow. Maybe make the eyes darker / bigger.

I've decided to wait till the game ships to play. :D

I touched up Lilly. She looks a lot more like a Labrador Retriever now. Can't wait to add her into the Casper Legacy. I guess Pets will provide a huge shift in gameplay.. I just may have to leave the flirtatious memories of Crescent Cove behind and move to Appaloosa Plains.. idk..

That's good lol, well you could always start a legacy with pets in Appaloosa Plains since they are not required to stay with one sim family (So I've read)

Lol I have a few neighborhoods... I'd just never get anywhere if I played more than one.

So I'm totally going to put the demo on my laptop instead. XD And lovely creations guys!
