Well, i'm pretty sure if he gave us the CAW files, we could delete it ourselves in a heartbeat.

I really love this! Now I don't mean to completely shit on all your hard work, but I just want the downtown area as a smaller world. I'm not asking you to do that, I'm just stating that it would work as a standalone. Although I do love the rest of it as well. I can't wait to see all the sims. I'd be happy to recreate some of them if you need?

Let him develop it as a whole, and if he gives us the CAW files, it won't be too hard to delete the orther areas and leave it open.

 Re: Sims 2 to Sims 3 UBER-megahood
Strangetown does look a little... out of place in these pictures, I agree. I've started putting sand onto the other islands now, as well as finally gotten around to fixing the terrain sculpting of ST. Anyway, from Monday onwards for a few weeks I'll be devoting a lot of my time to working on this, because my trial exams are over! My big bad final exams start in October so I won't even look at CAW from mid-September onwards, but my last exam is November 11th, so I'll be able to get back into it then.

This is AWESOME. Keep up the good work.
I'd love to play it when it's done, but my cack-arse PC can't run more than one Expansion Pack.

 Re: Sims 2 to Sims 3 UBER-megahood
ARGH, I know. It's been a hectic past few weeks, what with trial final exams, graduating and now seminars and exams coming up... It's not forgotten, I can tell you that. Come November 11, my exams will be over and I'll have a good 3 months to work on this before university kicks in.

I always imagined you were like 16 tops. And i have a legit question about university in Australia. This might sound dumb but, say your australian and you want to go to an american university, would you just go half way through the year, or wait till september? Now dont shit on me okayy. Im just curious.

 Re: Sims 2 to Sims 3 UBER-megahood
I have no idea how I would go about applying for university overseas, we get a number thingo called an ATAR out of 100 that's been scaled and tweaked state-wide that we use to get into uni (at the moment I'm sitting on 83.65) but I don't know if it can be converted to an SAT or a GCSE or whatever other grade systems there are.
I'm not sure when the northern hemisphere's school starts/ends, but in the southern (Or at least in Australia) a new school year starts at the beginning of February, has 4 10ish week terms broken up by 2/3 week holidays and then ends mid-December. I guess that if I wanted to go to uni overseas I'd do my high school exams as per normal to get my ATAR, skip applying for uni through the Australian system and then wait until a new university year starts in America?

 Re: Sims 2 to Sims 3 UBER-megahood
WOW. I keep forgetting that your seasons are completely turned around. Well, good luck really! I completely understand the dead period. It's the begining of school for me and I've hardly played sims more than twice,
