Post "The Sims 4:Work in progress" Taken down by EA
Today, just shy of 2PM, SimPrograms posted this video.

With the Caption,
"So we was tweeted this, a “leaked” work-in-progress video for The Sims 4. Is it real? Is it fake? Who’s that Pokemon? Only one way to find out. If EA removes it… you know what that means."

Well, it was removed... you know what that means.

I caught it once, just minutes before it was taken down.

Has any one else seen it?

Comments? Questions? Opinions?

They posted the video! Amazing! But easily fake. But you'll have to head over to the page to see it. http://www.simprograms.com/36925/leaked ... of-sims-4/

My thoughts? Completely possible. I mean, the Sims 3 had great graphic potential, but they stopped short to keep the cartoony-high contrast Sims we are used to. Maybe this would be their step on? Perhaps The Sims 4 is taking the graphics to GTA level. I mean, graphically that is absolutely obtainable and distributable. Look at GTA V. That'll be hitting the shelves 2 years before The Sims 4. We'll see.

In reality, it's completely fake, but the posibility of that level is absolutely there.

wull, if it is real, that graphic quality is awesome but it's not graphics that will make me wanna play sims 4 (my computer has to turn them all the way down anyways) it's the gameplay and lack of gliches... so even tho that trailer looked amazing... doesn't mean it's gunna be :P I'm just not really looking forward to dealing with all the problems sims 4 might come with :P

To the old "Fake or Real? Pro's and Cons!" list!
Pros:
•The majority of Simmers are pre-teenage girls who have difficulty spelling (judging by the horror that is the official forums). I doubt anyone in the small percentage of the fanbase who actually know how to use a computer would waste that much time meshing, texturing, rendering and animating those scenes just as a hoax.
•EA removed the video. Those fake TS3 pictures that were circulating the internet just after 2005 were up for YEARS with no interference, proving that EA couldn't give a rats about fakes.
•The animation of the 'sims', the buildings and rooms building themselves... it's all very reminiscent of SimCity and the original teasers for The Sims.

Cons:
•TS3 music.
•Less-than-impressive title thingo at the start.
•Nobody at EA would use the term 'Maxis' in fear that they be put to death by whoever it is running the Sims Division these days.
•A lot of the stuff in it looks impossible when you remember that you'll be building it yourself. Specifically, some of the pools.
•At the end it says "Work in progress...!". That sounds more like a graphics student previewing their project online rather than an official trailer.

I'm pretty certain that the whole thing's fake, but where those 'gameplay' scenes came from in beyond me.

Hmm, good list Draik. Idk. I talk with the presumption that obviously it's fake and try to support it. Soo... possibly it was an internal presentation for the board making Sims 4. Then again, The Sims 3 was not that fully underway until like a year before. Sims will still completely screwed up (lol they still are)

Offtopic: I feel like, ea should go back to sims 2, and add more to it and fix it's bugs and make better outfits for it or something. Here we are, talking about Sims 4 already but i feel like the Sims 2 was almost not completed :con: and I have a feeling sims 3 will never feel done.
