I've never joined a discussion on the the Sims 3 Forum, but I do think that the Sims 3 Store is pretty pointless.

Nah, it's not pointless - it brings in the money for EA. =P

EA can get your money three ways - through overpriced expansion packs, stuff packs, and the store.

Now in an more ideal world, this is how I believe it should go:

Expansion Packs would be $30 with the addition of items from the stuff packs. The store wouldn't exist at this point, the store would come after all of The Sims 3 Expansion Packs are released and would feature items (items with animation even. :o) and small features that people wanted really bad but couldn't be included in Expansion Packs.

Unfortunately, all of these things just serve to make more money for EA. The stuff packs are just absolutely ridiculous, and so is the store of course. All of that stuff should just be included in the Expansion Packs. It might actually make their Expansion Packs worth purchasing for the ridiculous price that they charge us!

Ive always been on the sims 3 forums sims 2 forums were a little bit faster but the sims 3 has been really quite glitchy and slow as of recently.

EA really don't not care about the sims 3 forums, there are some people posting death threats on people's walls and says where them live and they often have right and they only gets banned for a day :S this should be on the news or something... this is more serious than that stupid p0rn news they had some years ago LOL
