I used my super-awesome over-18 power to buy a mobile broadband USB modem thingy today.
Dad feels the need to disable the wireless internet every night at 11pm, so now I should be able to stay online past then.

Oh, I also bought my first bottle of alcohol in a bottle shop - for two of my friends' joint 18ths. I felt super trashy walking through the store with a bottle of tequila in one hand and a bottle of $5 flavoured white wine in the other, but it felt pretty fun.

The weather is finally good enough that I don't have to wear a pair of snow boots! It's actually pretty warm for this time of year.

The cheapest wine here is like, the equivalent of around 13AU$. The worst thing is that I never buy the cheap wine because it tastes like shit haha. Don't even get me started on the price of like, spirits. The amount of alcohol I brought back from my last visit to the UK probably is like, smuggler quantity. o_o

$13? That'd be the equivalent of a moderately-priced one over here. The cheapest I found in the store today was $3, but it looked really, really trashy. The $5 stuff is bad enough, it's called Passion Pop and is supposed to taste like passionfruit, but tastes more like vomit.
It'll make you really, really sick though. I had two bottles of it once (about a litre and a half all up) and apparently spent the rest of the night throwing it all back up. I really don't remember what happened though, which I guess is a good thing.

Since then I've stuck to vodka-based drinks, I don't get hungover at all on them.

We have 2 Buck Chuck over here. It's actually pretty good. You can also buy wine in juice boxes at Target.

I have two highlights from yesterday:

1. When my 18-month-old nephew, Finn, clung to me while we were grocery shopping. He actually let me hold him and carry him around!

2. When my 4-year-old nephew, Mason, climbed onto my lap to eat his bedtime snack and then stayed there and cuddled. He has never done that before.

Their parents are away on vacation so my sister and I are getting lots of love from them.

I just booked everything for my trip to Sweden at the end of April.

I bought these three little guys a year ago for about $15 each. I was going to get Eevee and the other evolutions but they were like $40+ each at the time so I settled for the original 3.

Anywhoo, I checked eBay today to see if the prices had dropped, and I managed to get the other 5 of them for about $12 each. My Eeveelution pokedoll collection shall be complete! I can't wait to line them all up in a little row on my shelf.

Saw The Hunger Games midnight premier. Gahh, amazinggg

I'm getting Hunger Games trilogy, 5-book set of Percy Jackson and the Olympians AND a graphic novel, wee.

Hunger Games premier! 3 Hours of sleep, field trip, 5 hour energy, and then I'm still awake!

My body is more than ready!!

I got some writing done today. A good chunk which was nice. I don't think I'll have to edit much either. Seems alright to me.

I had an amazing, 12-hour sleep last night. So great after an exhausting week and weekend of work.

Last rehearsal was tonight! :D

Er no highlight for me really except not falling asleep babysitting.

I had a really good job interview today, then I started my first shift at a completely different place about an hour later.
Hopefully I'll be able to juggle 2 jobs for the rest of the year so I'll be able to easily afford the expensive-ass textbooks and software for uni next year.
