This is how it went.

I installed pets, but didn't patch my game, Nraas worked fine.
THEN my boy got the annoying sneaking bug from my other topic, and I thought, oh maybe patching will fix it? So I patched my game, but it didn't fix shit. It only made it worse because by now my Nraas was malfunctioning, I would click a sim, and click edit in CAS or something like hat, but nothing happened.
And with the locomotion changer that you guys advised me to download, I had to rape a button a gazillion times and just press every option there was for 10 minutes for it to work. While it SHOULD just work with one click and have your char switch to normal walking. I am assuming it would've worked FINE if it weren't for the stupid latest patch.

SO I figured, maybe if I do all this crap Nraas and the locomotion mod would work again!!!!

But no!! Grr sorry guys I'm a bit pissy, but GRR, NOW all my HAIRCUTS and all my MODS are gone. POOF, GONE. They don't appear in my game at all!!

Can someone please come and help me out, maybe I did something wrong or something. My skype is inuraichi feel free to add me.

I tried re-downloading and that doesn't work also even though Nraas should be compatible with my patch version.

Please someone help me?

I made a new game which is bad enough on itself because it means I'm moving on and no longer playing my older savegames.

Also each time I insert my disk, it thinks I'm going to uninstal, but I can't play without my disk so I have to click "no, do not resume the de-installation" each time I enter it. What's up with that?

This is what you really need to do.

#1: Backup whatever you need (Except any mods)
#2: Uninstall
#3: Reinstall
#4: Patch up
#5: Enjoy brand new sims smell.

Seriously, if all else fails, uninstalling is the only thing that will work...

I'm so sorry.. I can tell from the way you wrote that you really love the game very much... But the sad thing is if the advice Aura gave you didn't work, it shows that its not a common glitch. You might have to check with the people who sold you the item, since computers do not cause such a problem (only causes lags and screws up in some graphics). On the other hand, you might need to check your computer's settings, bring it to the nearest computer shop to check whether there is a problem with your floppy disk or drive since the program has a repeating action of "de-installation" : but there is a problem you did not tell us yet, whether it only works for all games or only for this Sims game.

As for the mods you're talking about, there is a file that records all your mods and cheats if i'm not wrong. It's like a paper document or something (don't remember) or is it a section in the game (don't remember as well). Maybe there is a glitch there that may be causing the disappearance of your previous mods, or maybe you accidentally deactivated them. There is also a possibility that the new mod you put in caused an interruption or "clash" in the game....
