 The Sims 3 Occasions??i found some news from ISims and it seems EA might be working with weather for Sims 3

Re: The Sims 3 Occasions?? There are waaaaaay too many traits listed for an expansion pack, I highly doubt they'd ever add in high-scale disasters and while they've done religious objects before, like the menorah, there's no way EA would include religion so obviously.
Mixing seasons with holidays is probably how they're going to do it, but I doubt any of this information is actually real. Also, that screenshot looks heavily Photoshopped. _________________  |

I am under the impression that EA wants to stay away from any kind of religious controversy. So I'm not buying the story.. Other than the religious thing, the disasters don't exactly sound like it would work in this game. We can't damage or take down walls so I really don't think that a tornado is going to tear a house apart or that a landslide is going to bury a home. I will admit that it was a fun read! Yeah, the amount of content being proposed made me very suspicious. The only way I could ever see EA including religeon in the Sims is if they worshipped Llamas or Toasted Cheese (or you the player). Even that is a huge stretch. The game already includes earthquakes in ambitions and like somebody else said although it would be really cool to have proper disasters. The framework of the game wouldn't allow for satisfying survival and give an "end of the world" vibe. |
