Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
So, this December marks the 75th anniversary of Snow White, the very first full-length animated film. To commemorate this, I figured that once a week until December, we could all do a 'Question of the Day' kind of thing, except every question relating to Disney. We'll start it off nice and simple... Week One:What is your favourite animated Disney film and why? (See here for a list of them.) Week Two:What is your least favourite animated Disney movie and why? (See here for a list of them.) Week Three:Who is your favourite Disney female lead and why? ('Disney Princess' or otherwise, see here for a list of them.) Week Four:Who is (in your opinion) the most horrible Disney villain? (See here for a list of them.) Week Five:Who's your favourite side/secondary character? (For example, Flower or Thumper from Bambi, Lumiere or Cogsworth from BatB, etc.) Week Six:Who's your favourite male lead? ('Disney Prince' or otherwise, see here for a list of them.) Week Seven:Which movie would you most like to see converted to 3D next? (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid (and Tangled, I guess) don't count because they've already been done or are going to be done) Week Eight:What's you favourite musical scene from any of the movies? (Not your favourite song, your favourite scene that goes along with the song. For example, Be Prepared from The Lion King or Friends on the Other Side from The Princess and the Frog.)

Re: Question of the Day - Disney Magic Edition!
Fantasia, well Paul Dukas, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and all those wonderful composers' music is in the movie. AND I LOVE CLASSICAL MUSIC.
And also because Fantasia is in KH3D.

That's a hard question... Ummm Peter Pan. When I was little Cinderella was my favourite cause of the singing mice. The Little Mermaid I like a lot too.

Aladdin has always been my favourite, with Beauty and the Beast as a close second. I had a crush on Aladdin when I was younger and I thought Robin Williams was HILARIOUS! I haven't watched it in a long time and now I want to!! I think my mom still has our copy on VHS...

Pocahontas, I think. (I nearly said The Little Mermaid) But Pocahontas because I thought she was awesome, and because she's Native American. And I'm part Native American so I of course, thought that was wicked cool. I also love the music. (:

I second Pocahontas, for the same reasons mentioned above (minus the part about myself being N/A) close second is Mulan. Because she's a disney 'princess' who actually does something..

Vanille wrote: Where tha faq are the questions for the 18th and the 19th? Whoops, I should have been more specific in the title of the thread. It's a question a week, because I'd very quickly run out of questions if it were a daily thing, and this gives everyone a chance to answer before the next question. My favourite would have to be The Lion King, with Tangled coming in a very close second. I get super-nostalgic when watching The Lion King, it was the first movie I can ever remember seeing. Plus, the introduction has always, and probably will always, impressed me.

Re: Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
Tangled was amazing :D It didn't feel classic Disney enough for me to add it to the list, however.

I haven't seen Tangled yet, I actually forgot about it! The previews made it look like it would be really cute and funny. I have to watch it.

Re: Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
Tangled is an awesome movie, you should definitely see it! There was waaaay too much emphasis on Flynn Rider in the promos and trailers in an attempt to appeal to boys as well as girls, but the actual movie is centred on Rapunzel (like it should be!) I'm probably biased towards it because both of the lead characters are outrageously attractive and I'm pretty sure I'm in love with the both of them though... Anyway, this week's question is up!

YAY! New question :3
I really don't like Fox and the Hound, not because it's bad or anything, but because it makes me really sad and my brother used to watch it over and over and over when he was a kid and it was reallllyyyy annoying. and sad. XD

Re: Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
I want to just double what Jack said about tangled.
I also want to climb on in this parade and say that my least fave is possibly bedknobs and broomsticks.. I'm not sure why, but it never really tickled my fancy as a child... I hope that counts as one of the classics because its kind of live action/animation combined :P
Also, its not a disney film but have any of you seen the swan princess? Used to be like my fave movie ever when i was younger :P

I also want to expand on my answer for the previous question, it's actually a tie for Fantasia and Hunchback of Notre Dame... :P For this week, it's have to be Atlantis, it never really interested me.

Re: Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
Mine would have to be Chicken Little. Bad animation, bad voice acting, terrible plot... It was just a complete mess. If it weren't for Roseanne voicing the main character, Home on the Range would definitely have been my least favourite. It was absolutely awful, but for some weird reason I actually like Roseanne.

Re: Question of the Week - Disney Magic Edition!
There are a lot of Disney movies I haven't seen (mostly newer ones) or simply don't remember fully (from when I was a kid). But I did not enjoy The Princess and the Frog. It was too long and not very exciting to me. I appreciate what Disney was trying to do but it didn't work for me.

I didn't care for Mulan. I just couldn't get into it, it didn't interest me.
