I've finally decided to download my own configuration of the Megahood after missing playing with all of the premades. I've also decided to make them over! How fun! My 'hood is set up as Belladonna as the Main Hood and everything else is a shopping district. I have all of the EPs up to AL. So I've started with Belladonna!

The way I decided on how to dress each sim, I based them a lot off of where they live, how much money they have, their personality, job, interests (mostly culture and fashion. That's makes sense, right? ), and maaaaaaaybe.... how much I like them.

By the way, I try to keep them as "sim natural" as possible. I don't have very glamorous sims...

I started off with the Baldwin Family!





I kinda already liked the way he looked. The object he is working on is something I've downloaded. It lets sims create anything in the "small electronics" tab. Thought it suited him!


I thought that this shirt suited her so well. You can't see it, put shes wearing nude heels with her jeans. It's a loud shirt. She only has 3 in culture and 3 in fashion. To me, that means she doesn't have the greatest taste. But, she is wealthy, and lives in a very fashionable area of town, and I thought this was nicer. I kept her makeup natural, and changed her hair to have a cute little rose.


I LOVE the way she came out! I thought this was much better suited to her! She didn't even go to private school! So I changed her outfit completely. I thought it was a cute and simple outfit for a smart little girl!


Doesn't he look like such a cutie? I downloaded a whole bunch of toys for my toddlers, since I got tired of the boring old toys in the game. I think the dino on his shirt completes him.

I'll get to her uncle later.

I'll also have better families coming up. I'm kind of going in alphabetical order, so I know who I've already done. And don't confuse them.

They were an okay looking family. I mean, the chopsticks in Vivian's hair. Really?


I put her in darker clothing, because even though her husband died when their daughter was born, that was only what? two years ago? She's still in mourning to me.
Also, her favorite hobby is music and dance! So I took a picture of her dancing, and it's just funny to me!


Etsu is watching her mother doing a kooky dance. She's in a sweet little courdoury overall dress.

Hehe! He's so good looking! I gave him a more relaxed, yet sophisticated look. He works in the Law Enforcement career..... which to me, doesn't really scream "old money" or anything. He's a cadet... and I'm just going to assume he has to do a lot of physical labor.


But wow wow! Isn't he good lookin'?! Marissa married herself a model!


If I recall, Justin has pretty high culture, which to me, makes him a well dressed young man!


He shouldn't look so bored for photos, but he hates being at home. He's wearing a creamy yellow button up with grey pants and black penny loafers!


Marissa has always come off as a drinking neurotic mother. Not because she's unhappy with her life, but because she's so anxious about making sure her son grows up into a nice young man.


I love this outfit on her!! Very fashionable "sex in the city" while still being age appropriate!

This suits Kimberly so much more! Both of the twins are not very high in either fashion or culture... but I thought this fitted her so perfectly. A dark dress complete with little stars and unlaced boots! This haircut with her new softer, yet dark makeup makes her much more believable.


It may be difficult to tell, but I added freckles on the both of them! They seem like the type who would have them! And I never realised how pretty they both are! What a difference some makeup makes!
I softened Samantha up a little more. I disliked that last.... frock on her. It made her look too old along with her hair. This little white shirt with skinny jeans and modest black shoes is more befitting of the "good" sister.


Okay.... So I'll have to admit... I edit my own skins. The skins I have I downloaded from... Opeu, Maxis Dream, I believe? I have them set as defaults. And then I edit them by putting body hair on them, and made "in between" colors. Tara seemed to me like she would have been very pale...... So I maaaaaay have made her whiter.


I hate her stupid dress. Who wears thigh high boots with such a weirdo dress? Really?!


Armand looking quite sophisticated! I love his little 1960s vintage suit! The skinny green tie really brings it together!


Tara has got such a pretty little face with a cute little nose! She had a heavy makeup look before, so I tried to emulate that, without looking like cheap makeup! I thought that her original bob suited her so well! Why reinvent the wheel?


Here she is wearing her dark blue dress with buttons, and much more normal, and suitable knee high boots!

I have to admit, I kind of did like them before..... But I made them more much befitting of their bios and interests, I believe!


He's a shocker! I changed his look completely! But you see, Gabriel really didn't have high interest in fashion or culture, so him going out to wear a sports coat made no sense to me. I put him in a Flash t-shirt untucked with some cool black sneakers with red stripes! He's just such a long hair kind of man, so I just curled his hair! And gave him sexy nerdy glasses!


She works in business! There's no way she could work in an office with her Mohawk! So I have her something that still daring, yet more appropriate.


I think this is a better shot of her piercings. I thought she would have lots of them on her face! She is one of the edgier sims! They're on her ear, nose, and eyebrows!

I really like the look you gave to Chastity. I can't say much about Gabriel, I'm not too fond that hairstyle suits him, personally I don't like curly hair on guys but it's your game. :P

Hahaha! It's alright! I know I changed his look a lot! I thought all of that made him more "techie" in a "cool nerd" sort of way! And all of my boyfriends have had curly hair! It's adorable! Except the one I have now keeps it cut short and parted to the side! Looks like pincurls!

Lame edit! I know! And a lame shot too! I was trying to frame it so he looked like he was happy over his impending child. He has little culture and no fashion... but I thought he was too handsome to make him look very poorly dressed.... So I gave him a very ugly fat tie with a poorly fitting suit.


That's right! This is an outfit from the basegame! I thought that this was perfect for her! She also suffers from low culture and fashion, so I made her look sort of "blah". I gave her long messy hair that she puts up in a lazy way, and a clean and pink button down over her white capris and comfy sneakers. I made sure she looked put together, because her husband works in politics, but still sort of a "whatever" mom.


I do think she's pretty, and I wanted a close up of her plainly made-up face. She's a very natural mother!

She's trying to look very sexy with her "come hither" look! As you have noticed, it didn't seem like I changed much with her... Well, I thought her hair suited her. It was curly, yet manicured. She is wearing some heavy eyeshadow, which is why her eyes look so dark. I know you can't see it in photos, but she has freckles! I love freckles!
I could have easily made her "trashier" but, the way I see the story is, she was married to the wealthiest man in the whole entire game. Even though she is a woman of loose morals, she still had to have gained some taste and class from Armand, who is very well dressed... So I made Jessica a little well put together. I mean, we can assume that she took her clothes with her when she moved out!

He's kind of got low fashion, but half way full in culture, so I thought "Okay! He can look cute!" Gave him one of those more "rugged" casual shirts over some stone slacks. I mean, the man is a surgeon! I'm going to assume he dresses decently!

I know I barely changed his face, but he's so handsome the way he is already! I feel like by the time AL came out, the people at EAxis were able to figure out how to make decently dressed, good lookin' sims.

I come bringing the last two families! Well, I really had Goodie left, but I adored them too much as they where! I only changed her make up, and that isn't worth taking pictures of.

I want to apologise in advance for the Newson family. I don't really like them, since they have such a silly story, and raising two toddlers with only teens is a pain. So, while I took care to their makeovers, I didn't with their photos.

You can't tell, but on Ginger's shirt it says "Cute but Psycho" I always imagined her as one of those girls who wants to find love, but puts herself into bad relationships, and left alone. Also, she doesn't have the best fashion sense either! Her brother on the other hand is popular and well liked by everybody. He also likes to use his cash to spend money on expensive clothing, when he should really be saving.


I made Gallagher darker! That's not your eyes tricking you! I edited some skintones and made a tone between medium and dark. Which is why he's lighter than Gabriella, but darker than Gavin. I like this tone, because I think it suits a lot of my sims! You'll see it a few more times!




After I took this picture, I looked at it and thought "Hey! This is totally a corny photo EAxis would have taken!"


He's supposed to be an adventurous sim, so I gave him a nice little red tee with jean shorts and cool slip ons. I also thought this was a cool hair style!




Mary is one of the rarest cases in my game. She does have high fashion and culture, but I still dressed her like this. Why? Well, my reasoning is, if she worked in an auto body shop (as implied in her bio) then I'm going to assume she's a little bit of a tomboy. But I didn't take that to the biggest extremes! I still made sure she was nice and conservative looking, with her side-swept hair and blue frames. Her jeans are a nice dark wash with red sneakers!


Isaiah is a little cutie! And he has my grandfather's name! So I have a little soft spot for him.


Not sure if you can tell but I gave him freckles like this mother!

Have any of you noticed how in the same neighborhood, the only two child aged boys had the SAME OUTFIT? I mean, really? And it's not even one of the nicer base game outfits either!!

I thought it was interesting how some of the characters we already knew from TS2 were married off. So, I saw that Malcolm has a wife and thought it would be fun to make her! Now I understand that the Malcolm in TS3 is NOT the same, but I liked the story!


I decided on her name once I read that the name Hannelore is Germanic. Also, her bio states that she likes money and has a great job, so I thought they must be socialites. And where do the wealthiest socialites live? In a grand penthouse apartment, OF COURSE!

Pleasantview, I want to see your takes on the classics (as I've recently remodeled Pleasantview entirely myself, houses n' all).

Okay! I started them! I only got around to the Brokes... But here's a note! I haven't remodeled any of the houses. I keep everything almost exactly the same. Most of the houses I won't change. I've only edited the houses of family-bin sims. I am NOT an interior decorater. Frankly, I suck at it. My boyfriend is the one who's good at it. I do sims, he does houses.


Please, please ignore the no ceilings! They didn't have money for ceilings, and I like to keep my game as close to as how the game started! I do have some interesting match ups! That, I did shake up!

When I took this picture of Brandi, at first I thought this was just a super lame attempt at being artsy, but then, I started feeling sad. Her life just looks so bleak. She just has this pie that she's sadly cut for herself. Skip's favorite. She'll sit by the window and look out at the pool he was trying to build with his own hands. She'll feel the impending problems growing inside of her while she eats.
Bahhhhhh! Maybe it's because I'm sleepy.


Feeling nauseous. I chose to put her in an outfit that looks like a full outfit... because I didn't like the pants, but I liked the idea of it. She has low culture, but pretty high fashion. I wanted her to look... like she cared how she dressed, but wasn't sure how to properly place pieces together, so she looks too skimpy, or undressed. I also had a really hard time with selecting her new hair style. There was just something so.... Brandi about her clip up hair. I have a lot of long (and short) glamor hair. Except, Brandi is not in a position to be glamorus. Her husband died less than three months ago, and she's expecting another child. To me, she should have harried hair. Something she just put together with the pieces sticking out. Messy, but not exactly ugly. Maybe a little ugly.
I also gave her cheap looking makeup. I'm sure she's not spending the last of her cash on the good stuff!

Some man just walked behind him. I tried to give him baggy basketball shorts. I know when I was in high school, that's all boys wore. I liked what he was wearing before, I had to change it. Make it a little more realistic. Maybe it's the pinkness of the house, but he seems like a red kind of guy. I also flattened out his hair. I'm going to assume he's not spending his money on hair gel!


Looking like a little cutie! This is also his one true hobby! He's wearing a little baby baggy hoodie with some jeans a cool sneakers.


Pop! Surprise! I thought it would be fun to have a pregnancy belly shot! She spends more time in this when you start the game, than her regular clothes! I thought this outfit was great since it looks like whatever throw on clothes. As you can see, she's eating healthy! You may not be able to tell because the picture is small, but I gave her crows feet. I mean, the woman has a terrible teenager, a toddler, and a baby on the way! She is NOT going to flawless anymore!!

I'll have the Calientes next! I'm nervous, because I know they and the Goths are the REAL stars of Pleasantview! Eeeep!

WHOOPSIE! So this is NOT the Caliente Family! But that's only because I forgot that the Burbs started with a "B". I think for their update, I'm going to take many picture of them in different outfits and stuff! They are one of my favorites in the game!

And speaking of an old favorite, here's the Burbs! I love them so much!! (You can probably tell by the photos! )


I thought this house was absolutely perfect for them! Even if I did maaaaaaaybe have to use a couple of "kaching"s! It's funny, because I picked the same house for them when I was 13, and decorated it like crap. I wasn't even going to move them into this house, until I reloaded it, and took a good look at it, and realized that.... it's a beautiful house! So I moved them back in! And redecorated it much nicer!

Both parents in this game have very high fashion and culture! And I remember Tiffany Burb being quite the fashionista! So, of course John will be such a well dressed gentleman! And if this seems strange, doing the garden in his nice clothes, my boyfriend does the same thing!
I gave him some glasses... because I may have a thing for them! He's currently in the Business track as a Junior Executive! Have to dress the part!


I know that she's probably one of the sims who looks the MOST different from her makeover. I do try very hard to keep the integrity of the sims.... And what made Jennifer, well, Jennifer was her hair. However, I got tried of seeing that crimped hair... and I don't have curly hair that is simple and classy enough for my Jennifer! So I straightened her hair! I gave her a cute, simple, yet fashionable white dress with black buttons, that match her short black heels! I gave her more natural makeup, and glasses... because I love them!
I have a custom career which is Banking, and she is a Money Sorter!
Now, I am not an interior decorator, but I love wallpaper! And since this is a Tudor-esque house, I thought it would have tons of cute wallpapered rooms! While, structurally, I have changed nothing, I tried to make the house beautiful!


Little Lucy is beyond adorable!!! I adore her so much! This is my favorite hair style I have, since it reminds me so much of the same one I had when I was her age! I think her little pink ruffled shirt suits her so well! It's still very girly without being a dress!

I loved taking these pictures! They are such a fun, swell family! I think I will get them a dog in honor of Tucker!

This is a horrible image! Dina looks like a man!


Introducing the softer, more feminine Dina! She still has her little bit of midriff showing! Dina has the higher interest in fashion, so I gave her a cute little outfit. Nina looks a touch more tomboy to me. I know they don't have a lot of money in the game, but I like to pretend and play that whatever money they get, they like to spend in frivolous things, like tons of new clothes, shoes, makeup and hair products! (Okay! Maybe not frivolous. )


I put Nina in a super cute, soft, cotton Juicy Tee! She has it nice and untucked over her cute shorts with matching red sneakers! She's asking you to call her! It may be hard to see in this photo, but she has her nails painted purple.


Here they are in their formal dresses! I loved the way I did them in some of their outfits so I have plenty of shots! I know the dresses look similar, but trust me, when you're friendly with your sister, you dress alike. Me and my sister are seven years apart, and we dress pretty alike!

This one is more of a hilarious blooper! Dina is totally thinking "Aw man! Do her boobs look nicer than mine?" Her fingernails are painted pink! It's hard to see in these small photos!

I liked this picture since it shows off their bikinis so well! I feel like Nina would like the color green for some reason. I also like the cut of her top the best. The black, however, looks very sleek on Dina!

I was going to do a big ol' photo shoot of the Goth family, but then I realised that maybe Cassandra in her panties isn't the best idea. So I did a mini photo shoot.


I love this family! I really do. They were my favorite already in The Sims, and I love the way Maxis actually did a great job of creating a story that was silly, but made perfect sense for this family. They are the epitome of "Old Money" in SimNation. Beautiful old Victorian house, impeccably dressed family members. Different names, yet conservative. All you can do is look up to his family as a member of Pleasantview! And any other town! I believe they are one of the richest families in the game, and yet they have such a beautifully vintage house, tastefully decorated.

What they did to Mortimer and his family in TS3 is a crime. I'm serious! I cannot honestly believe that Gunther and Cornelia who are so well dressed with a beautiful house in The Sims, look like reject rockstars. If I had that game..... Don't even let me get stared on the changes I'd do!!

Because the last photo in their premade family album is so sad, I tried to emulate it. His logic is maxed out, which I know is needed to be promoted to the Mad Scientist level, but I like to pretend that he achieved that by gazing through his telescope looking for his beautiful, tragic wife.

While I had a really hard time changing what he looked like, I was so happy to find that I had a nice outfit for him! He's wearing nice grey tartan pants, with black oxford shoes. He has a black sweater vest over his white button up, complete with a matching bowtie and sport coat. So it still looks like him, but the better version of him! No?


I like to see this picture as Cassandra coming home with her stacks of books that she has to do some side research on for her own pleasure. In my game, shes interested in Film & Literature, so it's also fun to pretend that she's reading The Divine Comedy, and specifically, Dante's Inferno.

I got rid of her ugly black witch's gown. She needed something more modern, yet still appealed to her quiet, mysterious self. So I put her in a very simple boat neck black dress. She has nice little black flats to complete her look. I also made the decision to chop her hair, and give her a lighter, fresher look! I kept her glasses, since that is what makes her Cassandra. I also updated her makeup, but kept the same dark colors.


She's posing in the Graveyard, because it is so integral to her life. It has always been a part of her, and always be. I put her in a very simple Carolina Herrera dress. The back is delicately laced.

Alexander loves hunting for bugs like his father, and he does so the most at night. I thought this picture was interesting, because it looks like Cornelia Goth is angry at Cassandra getting married to the town Cassanova! She has a little thought bubble with an X over poor Cassandra's face.

I thought it would have been cute to dress Alexander more like his father, so he's wearing a cute square plaid vest with a coal sport coat, a little red bowtie and stone colored pants!

I hope you enjoyed the Goths! As you can see I love them!

Today I bring you....

I thought that was a nice picture of them!





I sort of went in a different direction with Darren. I don't know what's up with Cassandra and liking men with Goatees, but that had to stop! So I changed his facial hair to be just a little mustache and soul patch (or whatever. )
I put him in a cute blue turtle neck with a black leather jacket. He's also wearing light washed, high waisted, dad jeans with black shoes. I thought this, in combination with his cuter haircut was much of the "artist" stereotype. The man used to be the business career tract! He still dressed too business cushy. So I changed him up a little, and made him try to look like a 40something year old man who is trying to "find himself" and catch the eye of a certain Goth...!

However........ I'm not sure I'm actually going to put them together. Darren has three bolts with somebody else.....


Dirk cleans up well, no? He actually has pretty high culture, but low fashion... So I gave him a cute shirt, but it's too baggy on him, with some nice jeans and slip on shoes. My reasoning behind him looking like this, is because in the Pleasant family album, there is an old picture of Dirk and Lilith kissing, and he's wearing a polo! So, because his father DID work in business until recently (when Darleen died), Dirk should be at least decently dressed, no? Plus! I think it makes the divide between him and Lilith more apparent. Kind of makes the story juicer! He's the cute, smart guy in class, and she's the dark, bitchy girl who sits in the back.

SO, the madness behind this hilarious (at least to me..... ) picture is I wanted Don to be sprayed the skunk. I mean, according to TheSimswiki, he only had a 5 percent chance of not being sprayed! And look! So lucky!! So I decided to keep it like that! He really is a lucky devil, no?


My theory behind his new look is I wanted him to be..... a guido. I know it's an enthic slur. I know it's not nice. But I wanted him to be like the characters on the Jersey Shore. (It's okay. I live in the state. ) So I gave him a "fresh white Tee" with some baggy pants and "fresh white sneakers".


I mean, just look at him! He is all GTL (Gym Tan Laundry) He comes complete with a chin strap beard. I wanted to give him a Brooklyn Blowout but I never found a hair like that!

The thing is, I know Don was supposed to be a cool 90's bachelor by the looks of his bachelor pad, but PUH-LEASE. It has been 20 years, thank you. That's how old I am! It's time to update his look! Give him a current 2010s sort of feel!

Because I've noticed that my pictures are sort of.... boring in comparasion to others, I downloaded a whole bunch of new poses, and read a few tutorials, and I'm just wondering if you guys like this... style more?

This whole new style really started with this photo. I felt like on rainy nights (or rather, most nights) Cassandra would sit in, and read a book with a nice glass of red wine to pass the time. She would just... snuggle up with some good novel, as in, she'd re-read her brother's old Sherlock Holmes novels, and sit around drinking wine, while the only thing that keeps her company is the sound of clocks ticking, and the bubbles in the aquarium.

Please tell me how you feel! I'm going to take pictures of the Pleasants in this style if you like it...!

Tess! Thank you so much... That means so much to me! I love Cassandra. I feel like she is the unsung hero of Pleasantview... I need to find her a man, because in my game, Darren has three bolts for Brandi Broke! So I can't come between true love like that! So Cassandra will find herself a better man!

So... I tried really hard setting these photos up! It took me a while to get everything just right!




I think this is the best family photo. It shows the whole family perfectly, and explains their story the best out of the rest of the pre-mades.


I know! I cheated! I basically gave her the same pose! But I liked having her chatting on the phone! Since they don't have an office, I feel like since she is a horrible cook, she'd use the kitchen as her office. The kitchen is complete with little tarts she bought at a bakery.

I gave her a more... feminine, sort of, office pant suit. I kind of wanted her to look sort of manly, because I'd feel like she'd be one of those women who try so hard to fit into business by cutting their hair short, and wearing pant suits everywhere. This also clears up the story a bit, I feel, because Daniel could be unattracted to her because she went from being more womanly, to masculine.


I tried to make him look like he's a 50 year old guy, trying his hardest to be hip and look young, but sporty. You can't see in the photo, but I gave him some wrinkles to distinguish him. I love the track suit he's wearing, and I believe it fits him perfectly!


I rearranged the room in order to amplify the sweetness factor of Angela, and have her sit daintly on a bed. She's wearing an outfit I very much would have worn at her age. A cute little Hollister Tee, with jeans that have laces instead of buttons! I also gave her cute little freckles!


I loved taking this photo. I loved capturing Lilith looking like she was trapped in her corner because she feels so isolated from her broken family. She's smoking a cig amongst her stuff. She's wearing a white tank top that has corset lacing in the front, and the tightest skinny jeans with black Converses ever. I also painted her nails black.
