I got a jury summons in the mail today.
I've only been 18 for 6 months, both my parents are in their mid-40's and neither of them have ever had to do jury duty.

At least I'll be getting paid for it though.

This isn't only what ruined my day, it has probably scarred me for the rest of my life. The other day I was cleaning houses with my grandmother for some summer cash. We stumbled upon some adult movies that were obviously directed twords men. No big deal. Now today I was telling my aunt that story and she asked what she did with them: my grandmother chimes in and says i'm going to watch them when shes not here. 0.0 i've never heard something so scary in my life. Realizing that not much has changed after reading my 13yr old self's posts. Ugh. Everyone is growing up and i'm just staying the same. Experiencing different things, new friends. God I need to go to college out of state. Being with the same people (mostly douchebags) for 8yrs is not fun. You get to know them like an annoying sibling. I wanna be free.

So I got my grades and apparently I got a U in Biology and a D in English. Umm what? I got A's, B's and C's when I did essays in class, and all of a sudden a D?! AND FOR BIOLOGY, I DID NOT WASTE MY TIME SLAVING OFF DOING HOMEWORK, READING THE TEXTBOOK INSIDE-OUT AND THOSE PAST PAPERS JUST TO GET A U.

So when a teenager says their parents are stupid no one really believes it. Mine are literally stupid. Both of my parents are unemployed. My mom for being 'sick' all the time and my dad fot being greedy AF. This is great because my siblings and I still need school supplies, and my dad now doesn't have a way to pay rent. On top of this all my dad decides he's going to crash a wedding in Louisiana. Wtf dad. Thanks for being here for me and Skyler and Trey. Y'all need to stop being so fucking selfish. Open your eyes.
